My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
In the pursuit of seeing the northern lights... so far that's number 1 in my bucketlist.

I was raised single-handedly by my mum, which shaped me to be strong and hard working. I graduated from a Jesuit University a year ago with a degree in Management Economics and currently working for an international bank. I'm doing operations and audit, which I believe is the best training ground and foundation for a career in finance but I'm hoping to move into investment banking one day, maybe after I get a master's degree and eventually work for ADB and use what I've learned to give back to society. that's the plan!

Though i'm not the most religious person in the planet, my faith and moral compass are very important to me, and if there's one thing i've learned from previous dating experiences, it's that I can never work out well with someone who doesn't believe in God.

Not sure this summary does justice to my 22 years of existence, but should you like to know more, feel free to ask!

"Nothing is more practical than
finding God, than
falling in Love
in a quite absolute, final way.
What you are in love with,
what seizes your imagination, will affect everything.
It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning,
what you do with your evenings,
how you spend your weekends,
what you read, whom you know,
what breaks your heart,
and what amazes you with joy and gratitude.
Fall in Love, stay in love,
and it will decide everything" -Fr. Arrupe
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Focused primarily on building my career in banking/finance but also struggling to become a better Christian/Catholic. I also want to improve myself physically, emotionally, spiritually and in all other aspects because I believe it's important that before getting into a relationship I should learn to be happy with myself before I can be happy with someone else.

I shouldn't go into a relationship thinking that another person would fill all the emptiness but more because I'm ready to give and fill someone's emptiness. That's my theory based on all the books I've read, movies I've seen, songs I've listened to, and stories I've heard. :)

Geez, you might think I'm a hopeless romantic, sappy girl next goor. Though it's not entirely true, I'd be lying if I said I'm not.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Analyzing things and reading people. Perhaps I developed it from all the economics and psychology stuff I got in the Uni or maybe just an innate ability.

I'm good at singing. Actually no but I wish I was!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My cheekbones and cheeky personality. actually not the second part, i just wanted the cheek rhyming part, but i'm really shy at first coz I take quite some time to warm up.

I also get asked alot if I'm chinese, japanese or korean..

Not a huge reader, but when I have the time I like to go to Starbucks or by the beach and read a good book. Among my favorites are Freakonomics, Kite Runner, Catcher in the Rye, Paper Towns and The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, The Golden Compass, Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, To Kill a Mocking Bird and of course Sparks' A Walk to Remember, True Believer, and The Notebook

I make it a point to watch a movie at least once a week, I often go to the cinema with family or friends. There are movies that move you to think, make you cry, get you amazed, and wonder why and those films have a special place in my heart like A Walk to Remember, Jeux D'enfants, Intouchables, 3 Idiots, Life of Pi, Before Sunrise, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Wicker Park, Midnight in Paris, Kite Runner, Moulin Rouge, Great Gatsby, Perks of Being a Wallflower, 500 Days of Summer, Pretty Woman, The Notebook, Inception and a lot moooore!

After getting home from work, I usually watch TV series to relax before going to sleep. My favorites are Suits, Grey's Anatomy, Sherlock, The OC, Vampire Diaries, Awkward, Game of Thrones, Happy Endings, The Newsroom, and Friends.

I'm a huge music person, I have a soundtrack for every event in my life or emotion I feel, sometimes I find it easier to express myself through songs, which is why I like making playlist for friends. Indie, Alternative rock, pop punk, country and all genres except heavy metal. I adore bands like one republic, the killers, a rocket to the moon, death cab for cutie, dashboard confessionals, snow patrol, maroon5, m83, all time low, boys like girls, the fray, imogen heap, the script, grace potter and the nocturnals, switchfoot, anberlin, mayday parade, of monsters and men, yellowcard, we the kings, the smiths, 30 seconds to mars, florence + the machine, passion pit, naked and famous, MGMT and solo artists like Gavin Degraw, Lana Del Ray, Damien Rice, Katy Perry, David Guetta, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Avicii, Kelly Clarkson, Adele, Pink and more!!!

Japanese food and French desserts! But I'm not picky with food, i eat a lot!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. God- nothing makes sense without Him and everything becomes possible in Him.
2. Family- the people who drive me crazy and keep me sane at the same time.
3. Food- I guess this one's pretty obvious
4. Chocolates- Coz I need my daily dose of happy thoughts and sugar rush
5. Pixie Dust- this keeps me hopeful and fuels my daydreaming tendencies, I believe in miracles.
6. Wanderlust- this keeps me on my toes, always curious about wondering what's out there and seeing glimpses of heaven.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
thinking about how “In the torment of the insufficiency of everything attainable we eventually learn that here, in this life, all symphonies remain unfinished” (Karl Rahner) Yeah, I like to philosophize, and my favorite philosopher is Dr. Seuss

But when I'm not contemplating with Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, I'm usually thinking about...
-how to be a better person
-where and how to get my master's degree
-how i'm gonna travel the world
-what happened to Amelia Earhart
-how am I gonna do something transcendental with my life
-what's my purpose
-going to Paris
-what heaven looks like
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either out with my friends or at home enjoying a good movie. :)
