I am going to try to describe myself a little bit. I hope to be accurate.
I am hard working and committed to my career. I work hard but like to play hard. I think that building up my career is fundamental for growing in other areas of my life. I am a foreign government officer and love my career since I can help others to better off their living conditions and I can help fostering understanding and friendship between Mexico and the US. I am a Mexico City transplant and I have been in Arizona for a year.
I love traveling and being exposed to new cultures and individuals. I think that the world is a mosaic of different expressions of how to live and there is not a right way to do things, but many ways to get things done. I believe in diversity. I see the world as a common place where people from different backgrounds share their differences. I like to broaden my vision of the world by traveling, reading, writing and conversing. There is too much to learn from others that I try to be receptive all the time.
I love being very active. My favorite date in deed would be for a jog or hike and then do coffee. I think that people can build bridges over a cup of coffee or tea as well as breaking the bread together because sharing food is very symbolic and you disarm yourself and let the others express who they are.
I think that living in community is important. A family is the backbone of any person and the community is also a very important component of social life. For me it is fundamental to acknowledge others and their needs and expectations and treat them fairly. Empathy is very important. I believe that the world could be a very peaceful place to live if we showed more compassion and understanding to others.
I take care of my body and mind. You will see me jogging 4 miles per day in the morning while feeling blessed by the sun light of the sunrise on my skin. You will see me eating healthy food and avoiding processed food and soft drinks, but from time to time I indulge myself with a diet coke. I have a stressful job so I go to the gym after work just for releasing the stress.
I love reading, watching the news and documentaries. I do not have any favorite book or books. I love political science and international relations literature. I do love reading the newspaper with a cup of coffee after going jogging. I would also engage in deep conversations over a glass of wine before bed time. I am not into literature (poems, tales and novels) but I love reading literature on how to be a better person.
Cuddling is important to me too. I love cuddling and seeing movies. I think that is a very romantic moment, a very private moment when you are aware and sharing your feelings with your special one. Touching is a very important way to express loved and being loved. Quality time is also one of my ways of expressing my love to someone.
These days I am reflecting on the fact that in life there is nothing for sure and the grey areas are the rule, not the exception. So far I think that faith is the most rational of all the choices. I want to have faith that everywhere I go, whatever I do for a living, whomever I am with, I will be fine, happy and grateful. I am learning how to not to struggle and enjoy life. I was raised catholic and then tried other Christian denominations. Right now I do respect religion but I am agnostic and eclectic.
