Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I remain firmly convinced that who I am (and you!) can't be boiled
down into a few sentences. But to give you a small taste:
I love: exploring new cities, quiet nights with good friends,
dancing out of my earrings, curling up with a good book as the rain
hits my window, good (and sometimes bad) wine, laughing until I beg
to stop, Paris, Autumn, the smell of snow, tennis, the sound a
sailboat line makes as it slaps against a metal mast, the beach,
black cashmere sweaters.
Not so fond of: blue cheese, lack of curiosity, willful ignorance,
sushi, impatience (although I am guilty of this myself sometimes),
wet socks, rudeness, atonal jazz.
I'm looking for someone smart, kind, and amusing to share life's

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends, family, good books, music, beauty, imagination.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If living in Paris would be as wonderful as I imagine. Why
fundamentally intelligent people can be such idiots. If I have
enough reading material to last me through the week. Trying to come
up with a job where I get paid to read and think big thoughts. Why
this profile doesn't ask me to name the most private thing I'm
willing to admit. (For the record: I can't bear the sound of a
ticking clock when I'm trying to fall asleep.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Taking in a movie, out having a drink with friends, reading,
catching up on TV.....

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to laugh over a glass of wine (or bourbon). You're not
going to ask me to do your laundry on our first date. (Oh yeah,
that happened.) You enjoy a woman who's smart, kind, cultured, and
opinionated but always willing to listen.
