I am Outgoing, Fun Loving, and Trustworthy.

My Self-Summary

I'm looking to make some new friends and maybe stumble across the one who's just perfect for me. I have a car, so don't worry if your not local, but if you live 100's of miles away, then things might be a bit difficult to see each other. I'm looking for friends and a possible relationship, as i'm not your one night stand kind of guy. If you don't want to see the person again, why would you want to sleep with them? It just doesn't make sense to me. I guess I am different to most guys. I'm loyal, trustworthy, reliable and fairly laid back. It takes a lot to actually wind me up. I qualified as a mechanical engineer, but recently moved across to IT Admin. I enjoy my free time cycling, bodyboarding & surfing and also enjoy going skiing (French Alps 3 times so far, but i'd like to visit Canada, Italy, Austria, anywhere really!). I'm an outgoing person who is polite, kind and considerate. If you like what your reading, and would like to know more, please add me to favorites or email me.
Now in French
I went to a small ski resort in the French Alps called Saint Foy. Hardly anyone spoke English and its quite amazing how quickly you can pick things up when you have no choice. I enjoyed it too and surprised myself!

What I’m doing with my life

Working hard and playing hard. I work Monday to Thursday at the moment due to this recession, but that means longer weekends right?? If you look hard enough, there is always a positive in any situation. My glass is always half full (or at least I try to keep it that way). My weekends are spent watching a movie, mountain biking, surfing, pubs & clubs, or just chilling. I've recently moved into IT and am finding i'm good at it. I hope to pursue a career in IT for a while.

I’m really good at

I'm really good at helping people. I'm a very giving person (but don't think you can take the piss forever! lol). As an IT administrator, I get lots of requests to fix friends laptops and pc's, although i like to have fun too and keep the harder IT stuff for my job only.
I love my sports and activities and like to try my best at everything. I'm quite competitive, but don't mind losing as long as I have played my best (although it usually ends up with me winning most things).
I'm also really good at landing on my feet. I've found that with a small amount of research (and plenty of luck), its easy to be successful.

The first things people usually notice about me

My easy to get on with attitude. I can talk to anyone and make good friends easily.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't read much, although my favorite book was by Lance Armstrong - Its Not About The Bike. This book tells you how he grew up with no father, found sport, got into cycling. Then he gets quite big-headed up to around page 60. At this point he finds out he has cancer. Its the most inspirational read ever! All emotions are pulled through the book and you come out feeling good about yourself. Try it.

I love my movies and have loads of them. I love a good comedy as I like to feel happy. I'm not really a horror fan, but am happy to watch them if somebody else fancies it. After comedy, I like action, adventure and drama films. I can also chill out to a good Disney film like Cars! lol

I have a huge varied taste in music, but don't have much (if any) rave or rap. I can listen to anything else. Favorites currently are Kings of Leon, The Killers, Keane, Artic Monkeys, Paolo Nutini, Oasis, Greenday, Kaiser Chiefs, Nickelback, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snow Patrol, The Kooks, The Script, although I have been known to chill out to James Blunt, James Morrisson, Jason Mraz or Lifehouse.

I used to be a very fussy eater and ate very bland, almost kiddish foods. Then I went skiing in France. I stayed with a mate in the staff chalet with 7 chalet girls. They cooked every night. With all the skiing each day, I was starving, so ate what they cooked. I have no idea what it was, but the food was fantastic. Thanks girls, you woke my taste buds up and I love so many different foods!

The six things I could never do without

Fun and laughter, friends, cycling and surfing, with skiing whenever i can afford it & eating out. Many of these fit together to make a great day.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I think about everything. My mind races and I just filter out the important stuff and act on it. If none of it is important, then I ignore it. I can get to sleep within 60 seconds if I tune out.

On a typical Friday night I am

Playing snooker, having a drink with friends, downtown pubbing & clubbing, or chilling out with a movie and a beer.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Shuuuuush, but i've put my profile up on a dating site. Don't tell anyone!

And for the rest of it - you'll have to email me! I'm an honest person and lots of fun, so i'm likely to open up to your questions!
