My self-summary Propose an edit

I've always had a passion for playing games (of the board, card, video, computer, and similar varieties). Ever since I was little, games have engaged my creative side and allowed me to think, imagine, and problem solve. I think that it has helped shape my approach to life in many way; I'm always looking for more efficient, more inventive solutions to problems, I'm quite attentive to details, and I always try to achieve my goals as best I can. And, now, I'm looking to talk to you...

Among other things, I like to read, write (poetry, fiction, etc), play guitar, play games with friends, and watch movies. Oh, and music is the only mind-altering substance I allow myself. I've been going to the gym recently, and getting in better shape, and like the occasional hike or similar things.

Right now, I'm taking a semester off school to get some perspective in my life. I'm working on getting a few creative projects wrapped up, hopefully well enough to publish/sell. But that's just a smidge of idealism, I think.

See, this here is, like everyone else says, hard to catergorize quickly:

Movies: I own lots. I watch mostly comedies, with some action, drama, mystery, and very occasionally suspense thrown in. Stranger than Fiction is currently running around my mind...

Books: I read, a lot. I mainly have read Science Fiction and Fantasy, but I also enjoy mystery, graphic novels, historical fiction, and some generic fiction.

Music: I will listen to most anything on a recommendation. I mainly listen to rock and it's offspring when left to my own devices, but musicals and music in Spanish are my guilty pleasures...

Food: I eat plenty. I mostly avoid things that came from the sea. And tomatoes. There are other notable exceptions, but they're not worth mentioning here.
