My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
so you know, i'm in a bigtime relationship with my best friend, sxixchwixch! long story short, we primarily date wonderful ladies together, as a couple, occasionally venturing off individually if everybody feels good about it. we are both kinky, superfriendly and sex positive ppl, but do keep in mind that we prefer the package deal. if you're not sure what that's all about, feel free to ask- basically, imagine the thrilling dates, fun company for activities and sweetie-pie txts, but with focus coming from two babes at once! who, also, don't mind if you're busy because we are already content with each other. so if you think we're both heady babes and want to get to know us, don't be deterred-we're both super friendly and accommodating and if you get along with one us there's a good chance you'll like the other :).

we're mostly on here to meet potential partners to share and/or new friends who share our interests- to collaborate with on projects, or just to hang out/adventure with. we're both fairly new to the bay area and it would be really great to meet more like-minded people.

i consider myself a feminist and i check my privileges at the door. that may sound pandering, but it's true.

i love to talk about music, craft beer, history (especially secret history), digital art, psychology, occult nonsense, cartoons, comic books, frugal living, theater, privilege, sass, cats, bats, coats and hats.

i don't believe the myers-briggs type indicator test is at all an accurate descriptor of someone's personality. really any test that relies so heavily on binary yes/no questions, especially one developed by people with no psychology backgrounds over 60 years ago, should be viewed with at least a little suspicion.

i'm a skeptic but not a cynic.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
i'm an aspiring sound designer/editor/experimenter/wizard. most recently i was interning at a small recording studio in the east bay and while i enjoy recording bands, it's definitely not something i want to do for the rest of my life.

my ultimate life goal is to work in film/television, either as a designer, foley artist, production mixer, editor, music supervisor or some combination of all of the above. if you or anyone you know needs a sound editor/designer for a theatrical performance or film, get at me.

i'm a musician and multi-instrumentalist. although i am not currently in a band i'm usually involved in multiple projects as well as constantly writing and working on new creations.
if you're a musician and are looking for someone to collaborate with, let's play - we may just hit it off!

i am aware that there is a stigma attached to musicians/sound engineers that we can be all self-serving, self-centered pricks. i assure you that i actively work to avoid perpetuating this. no brooding here.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
remembering anything i learn related to music, cooking cheap eats, imitating voices, sigil magick, staying posi, cleaning, building a fire, sex, writing bridge sections, improvising stupid songs, using metaphors, back rubz, home-made-gifts, driving long distances and grinning like an idiot.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
uncommon name, pale eyes and a big mouth (physically)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
my favorite books are usually non-fiction works about history, mass media, psychology, economics, esoteric teachings, theater, music, cooking or madness.
as far as works of fiction i tend to gravitate towards fantasy, science-fiction, magical realism or gritty detective novels.
some stand-out favorites include: illuminatus, anything by grant morrison, dune, media virus, stranger in a strange land, ender's game, lotr, the lucifer principle, another roadside attraction, the poems of cold mountain, true hallucinations.

i like films with beautiful and intense imagery, documentaries, cheesy super hero remake knockoff blockbusters full of explosions and stupid one liners, magical realism, noir, psychological thrillers, spaghetti westerns and black comedies.

seven samurai is my favorite film of all time.
the holy mountain is a close second.
my favorite miyazaki film is princess mononoke and i'm not sure what that says about me.

i don't have cable but i will netflix/pirate: twin peaks, pbs frontline documentaries, the office, boardwalk empire, game of thrones, venture bros, carl sagan's cosmos, planet earth, sherlock and most adult swim programming.

listing my favorite musical artists seems somewhat silly and mostly pointless to me. i generally like any music in any style as long as it is relatively inventive and not quite normal.
i have a particular soft spot for gritty distorted electronic music, bop era jazz, traditional balkan music, modern classical, james brown, weird americana, pre-1940's blues, intense noise music, inventive metal, ambient spooky drone and poorly made cell phone ringtones.

food: i love it all. try me.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
laptop (i know, i know)
a well-proofed cooking pan
a soft place to lay
cool, dark woods to explore
delicious fruits
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
sex, food, quantum psychology, music, kink and what it means to be a bratty sub man in today's wacky world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
hanging out at my big weird house with my 9 awesome room mates, drinking and people watching at art murmur, at a show, watching a movie or tv show, experimenting with my mid-90's drum machine and a children's karaoke cassette player, at a friend's house drinking and laughing or staring at a computer screen mixing/editing/creating sound.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i don't really know what started it, but i am somewhat intimidated by women with a lot of visible tattoos. in a good way.
