You clicked on my profile? Excellent. I'm still working on the whole making you wildly interested in me thing. I love making and watching movies so much I do it for a living. The OKCliche of "I hate writing about myself" holds true for me as well. I find it's a lot more interesting for someone to conclude a guy is awesome than it is to be convinced.
I'm a functional nerd. (If someone who meets me doesn't know about Star Wars or comic books they inevitably learn.) I make tons of references to movies, internet memes, and odd stories I read once about people who died hundreds of years ago. I'm also perfectly capable of discussing the thematic relevance of Eminiem's discography before talking about what's going on in politics. I'm a man of many interests--a mystery wrapped within an enigma. Well, not really, but the point is I do not hide in a basement somewhere playing Dungeons and Dragons all day.
I love making jokes. Wordplay, bad puns, good puns, banter, liberal doses of sarcasm, it's all part of the experience with me. I enjoy being around people who are willing to goof around. Not to say I can't be serious, too. I spend a lot of time with my friends talking about the nature of the world and what makes people do what they do. There's no quicker way to get me smitten than to challenge me intellectually right after you make my sides hurt from laughing.
I think it's important to operate with a sense of honor. There are plenty of difficult things in life, but compassion and respect for others is pretty simple. From what I understand, this makes me either quite the catch or a complete sap. Depends on what you're looking for, I guess. "The Game" isn't something I find to be appealing. I like to hold hands and cuddle. Sue me.
That's all I can stand to write about myself. Your move, internet.
UPDATE: In an attempt to keep things interesting, I am adding little games to my profile. Try them all. Or don't. I'm not the boss of you.
