I have a wanderlust aching in these bones. I grew up in a small
town in somewhere in the Midwest. I moved to a larger city in the
Midwest to do my undergrad and receive a Bachelor of Arts degree.
I've since been inspired and studied for many years many modalities
of massage therapy. I have traveled the world, and my most
fantastic adventure was studying with a Taoist Master in Thailand.
After returning from Asia I decided I had had enough of the winter
wonderland, I moved across the country to California to explore an
ancient medicine that resonates within me. I like teaching
meditation(s), experiencing the mountains or the ocean, expressing
myself through art: drawing the human form, black and white
photography, painting, poetry and whatever other way I am inspired
to share myself with the world.
I am a bodyworker, I've learned many forms of massage and healing,
(shiatsu, chi nei tsang, thai massage, reiki, bodymindcentering)
and I have the opportunity to educate people about their body. I am
currently in a master's program studying Oriental
Medicine--(acupuncture, herbology) a medicine that has been around
5,000 years. I want to continue to learn the many ways to
facilitate the healing process.
I'm not interested in your favorite sports team or bar/dance
clubs--it's not my scene.
What I'm looking for is someone to be in awe of the world with
me.
