My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm here, trying to figure it all out. Whatever it is.

I make things pretty for a living. "Things" usually falling under the "information" or "visual" category.

INFJ for better or for worse.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Spicing up the monotony of the 40+ hour work week by staying connected with distant friends, experiencing as much music & art & culture as possible and building up my design skills for the future.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Problem-solving, puzzles, identifying songs/musicians quickly, makin' bitchin' posters, infographics, icons, brainstorming, organizing things, word games, remembering faces, remembering faces of actors and the movies they were in-but not their names (ha), designing, drawing, photography, sarcastic humor, bad puns, getting along with multiple types of people, teaching myself how to use or fix something, sleeping in
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am very honest and direct, and I share my opinion openly. This kind of honesty sometimes comes off as being blunt, I'm told, but I try not to be mean about it.

One of my hobbies or passions. (Insert indie band/ typography/ Harry Potter reference here) I tend to get very excited about the things I like and love finding people to discuss them with.

I spend a lot of time in my head or people-watching. When I'm not talking, I'm told I look serious or mad —which is usually not the case — thinking makes me forget my facial expression sometimes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Music. Going a day without music is like going a day without breathing. Seriously. I get twitchy.

2. Family. They drive me crazy, but they accept me for who I am and support me through everything I need them to.

3. Opportunities for learning: a.k.a. books, the internet, a new hobby, the library, a new game, new people. I love keeping my brain active & creative in any way I can.

4. Passion. Being able to completely throw yourself into a skill, a friendship, a book or some form of work is so invigorating and enlightening in myriad ways.

5. Coffee. What a glorious sensory invention. I'd say I'm a coffee connoisseur. Or maybe coffee snob is more appropriate, whichever. If it smells good and tastes good — I'm there.

6. Pencil and paper. I keep lists, sketch ideas, save quotes, make playlists. I need somewhere to put my thoughts so they don't continue to rattle around my head.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
— How many hours can I sleep and still get up on time tomorrow morning? — That type is gorgeous — I need to practice drawing letterforms more — What was that last song? — Where have I heard that melody before? — Where am I going to be in the next five years? — What do I actually want to be doing in five years? — Should I change my nail polish color? — Are my library books overdue yet? — Is my effort into [insert issue of the week here] worth it? — When did I finish my coffee? —
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On Friday nights I become Cinderella. When the clock strikes 12:00, I get very sleepy. However, I still try to get out and do something like a gallery opening or art show or seeing a local band at that bar down the street.
