I'm currently getting my feet wet in the real world, working in Manhattan by day and living in Brooklyn by night. Obviously I'm living the dream.

I'm originally from CA, but went to school in New York and basically stayed. I do miss the mild winters and dry summers, but for some reason I can't seem to be away from New York for too long. I have great friends here, and there's always an adventure to be had in this city. I am all about adventures, especially when they involve travel, food, and booze.

I am generous, charismatic, and boisterous

Strategizing the best course of action for me right now, while spending time with my friends concocting cock-eyed schemes. Living by the Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Garden and being blissfully happy in a huge apartment with a great kitchen. I bake and cook a fair amount.

I've been told I give great hugs.

My hair. Currently it's longish, curly, and very soft. I also wear facial hair real well, so my face is usually covered in facial hair.

My questionable ethnicity. One of the first questions I get asked when I meet new people is "What are you?" It's not insulting, but it is weird. I do pride myself on that air of mystery though...

Books- Garfield when I was a kid, Skin by Roald Dahl when I was older, Othello when I was a teenager, and I just read Slaughterhouse 5 and Cat's Cradle by Vonnegut, which were really good. I've read and enjoyed Kundera, and I really like Gloria Naylor and Toni Morrison. Currently trying to read Just Kids.

Full Disclosure: I have never read the last book of Harry Potter.

Movies- I watch a lot of movies. Favorites would have to be Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2 (can't have one without the other), Pulp Fiction, Little Girl Blue, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Katyn. I also really like queer cinema, camp, and the hilariously gorey.

Music- Eclectic mix of pop, soul, classic rock, and world. Artists I like right now are Robyn, Alabama Shakes, and The Knife. I like to go to concerts in the area and would love to go to more. I like the Meditation from Massnet's opera Thais, and almost everything Sondheim wrote. Yes I like showtunes. We can talk about that later.

Food? Yes. Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Afghan, Indian, Kosher, Vegan, I enjoy it all. Really interested to try Ethiopian. But my go to craving is a toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and lox from a bagel shop.
