First and foremost, I do not judge anyone for what they might appear to be. I could care less about first impressions and I am only interested in the whole person as they wish to be. Moving on...

I am a complex and complete person, full and happy on my own. I am also educated and self-driven to my own goals. I enjoy life immensely and I wish I could meet everyone that has been, will be, and currently is alive.

For the most part, I'd say I'm a classic gentleman that enjoys a woman who knows how to be just that, a woman. However, I hope the same person knows how to have fun in any setting, from concerts to elegant dinners and hiking or camping (my true home is in Montana).

No matter what happens, I am usually the guy that has a good time and laughs things off. I can get along with anyone because I have the empathy and intelligence to understand just about any situation.

Remodeling a home and working as much as possible while fitting the gym somewhere in between. I've completed undergrad in Finance and Math, so a PhD in Finance is next, but I'm taking a break for now. I'm a bit tired of school right now, but can't seem to kick the habit of learning and I love it!

There aren't many things I am unable to do. All I ever require is a quick "how to" and I'm good at pretty much anything; give or take some all out failures, of course :)

Somehow, right off the bat, people always think I'm married or taken in some way. I'm not sure if that's due to confidence or that I try to respect other people's boundaries. Regardless, it's amusing to me.

Books: Most of the books I read are based in finance, economics, and business, but the occasional how-to article for home improvement sneaks in to the mix.

Movies: Anything that lets me escape normal life is great with me, but I tend to watch a lot of documentaries as well; with me, dark humor bodes well. Boondock Saints, A Clockwork Orange, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Seven, Braveheart, Star Wars, The Corporation, Alice In Wonderland, Harry Potter, and so many more... I should not forget The Lion King!

Music: Industrial, Metal, Alternative Rock, Classical, and certainly NPR (I know, NPR is not music, but it works for me)... Assemblage 23, Depeche Mode, Funker Vogt, Daft Punk, X, Killers, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, And One, VNV Nation, Wumpscut, Korn, NIN, Manson, Everclear, Audioslave, Cake, Down and Above, Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, Brand New, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Handel, Haydn, Strauss, Vivaldi, and on and on.

Food: I love to cook and I love to eat. Any thoughtful presentation with a well-balanced flavor profile and a good wine is fine by me, bring on the first course!

What's next? How can I ...? Does so and so think ...? Should that be a semicolon? How much we really have no clue about (it's a lot).

Cooking for myself and friends or off on a patchwork adventure just to see what happens.

I am really made of two people; one is the person I truly am and the other is the person that I choose for others to see. I learned to do this as a child and it was out of necessity. Honestly, I prefer things this way for I can blend into any situation and be friends with anyone; I can appreciate NASCAR and beer just as much as an event at the Mark Taper Forum, Ahmanson Theatre, or Disney Concert Hall. I guess I'm well-rounded.

Message me if there's a baseball game, concert, dinner, play, or some other event (regardless of what it is) that you really want to attend, but can't find the right person to go with. I do stand-in gigs; so if you need a presentable person for grandma at Christmas dinner, I'm in (you may laugh, but I have already racked up quite a bit of experience in this area).

You want the perfect date or you want to know what it's like to be treated well; chivalry is not dead.
