My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Jacob and I am originally from Louisiana. I just moved to Austin about two months ago and love it so far. I work as a manager of a QA team for a local casino slot machine game company.

Let's see...what else....ohh...I really enjoy marine reef aquariums and have 3. I'm also not very good at self-summarizing so message me if you want to know more.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working and Traveling (Vancouver, San Francisco, and Atlanta this past year) mainly. I just moved here (end of June) and so I've been trying to learn my way around this wonderful city.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am a decent cook (Cajun and Italian).

Talking fast. I think it's a Louisiana thing but people tell me slow down from time to time.

Walking fast. I'm tall, so when walking with a group of people I'm usually out front by a couple of feet.

Reading people and situations.

Eating Caudberry Eggs around Easter.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I am pretty quiet at first but I open up quickly.

I sometimes say things that offended some people. It happens...I grew up watching George Carlin and Bill Hicks. Now I watch Louis Ck, Doug Stanhope, Bill Burr, Joe Rogan, and Jim Jefferies..just to name a few. I love shock/offensive comedy.

I enjoy philosophical discussions on any topic.

Family/Friends aren't "things" but assuming they are they'd be up there.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Space (outter and inner), philosophy, everything...

The fact that ideas are as real as the neurons they inhabit. Everything in the modern world, literally everything, started in a human brain and was eventually realized. Ideas are leaping above the natural bioshpere at an outstanding rate and actually act as living organisms. They leap from brain to brain, compete for the limited rescource of our attention, and they have infectivity.....
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends on the Friday. Dive bars are fun, as is seeing shows...but so is doing absolutely nothing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The older I get, the more fearful I become of heights. Airplanes, no problem...any apartment balcony 7+ stories up, freaked out. I know it's illogical but it's a thing.
