My planned stay in Chicago was supposed to be relatively short and Gilligan-esque. Maybe not a three hour tour, but two years seemed to be sufficient to eat deep-dish, go on a boat tour, watch a Cubs game, and finish grad school. Six years, a few tours, pizzas, and Cubs disappointments later, I am still loving the city, and realize that it's more than a checklist.

I am hoping to find someone willing to share her version of "Chicago", while getting a taste of mine. Hoping for some similarities but excited for the differences. I'm a fan of good food (ex.Sen Sushi, Kuma's Corner, Cafe Iberico) , good music (dancing is a must), and versatile conversationalists (spanning the silly, the sexy, and the serious).

About me... When I'm not out preventing world war and alien invasions with my interpretive dancing, I spend time working as a physicist of some sort. Yes I am a nerd. I even like jigsaw puzzles.

I grew up in southern California, but I absolutely love Chicago, and the "down to earth- good people" vibe it has.

I had a dog named Peugot.
I am a sucker for potatoes in the fried form.

A few highlights from this past year:
I completed my first Warrior Dash (looking forward to the next one)
I attempted to break a world record.
I traveled to LA, Vegas, New Orleans, San Francisco, Saugatcuk, MI, and the Boracay, Philippines (<-- Island paradise, look it up)

A few things I want to do in the near future
Go themed bowling
Slow dance to a fast song at a club/bar
Hang out with someone who's crazy, sexy, and cool.

I'm a physicizzzissssss. Ask me I'll give you every excruciating detail you want. At least Big Bang Theory is popular. ( I am nothing like any of them though). Sheldon is too awesome.

Just read Blink, and Way of the Peaceful Warrior. The Alchemist is tops on my list.

Misfits on Hulu is amazing. Community, Grimm, and Sportscenter usually occupy the DVR.

Food. SUSHI. I'm a fan of food, so I'll try anything once.

Music: If it's got a beat, I'll find a way to move to it. Currently Mashup Djs, Girl Talk, Earworm, and Ztrip. Early 90s hiphop, Reggae, Reggae Dub, some classic rock, and for some reason, really diggin' Nancy Sinatra right now.

Just about everything. One of my favorite things though is what my life's soundtrack will be. I want the opening credits to be "Damn it Feels Good to be a Gangsta"(from Office Space), or the opening Lion King song (there really needs to be a sarcasm font)
