My Self-Summary

I'm a working professional that loves to get out. You'll find me cycling, hiking, running, taking in a show at Red Rocks, or even playing an open mic around the city. I finished my masters last year and work for a Federal agency where I get to save your drinking water from the oil and gas industry. I have a lot of interests and passions which keep me busy but also having to choose what I'm going to devote any given day or evening to. Lately I've gotten re-inspired about dancing and this time its tango and 2-step. I'm from Tennessee originally and have wanted to live in Colorado for most of my life so each day here is a bit of dream come true. But I'm a Tennessee/southern boy at heart.

What I’m doing with my life

Lately I'm trying not to think too much beyond the present moment. I'm very into the work that I do so that's my primary focus. I'll probably end up in DC, San Francisco, or Chicago with the same agency at some point but Denver is working out great for now.

Listening and laughing. I can also sing like John Mayer.

Probably my eyes. They're blue.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I actually don't make a lot of time to read these days although I'm generally working through something obscure and very rarely ever fiction.

I like all kinds of movies, and there are good ones and bad ones, but I would have a hard time picking a "favorite". I think movies may not be important enough for me to spend time figuring this one out.

With music, I'm all across the board and it really depends on the activity. I'm a big Smashing Pumpkins fan and I listen to a lot of 311 when I'm working out, but I listen to jazz, classical, blues, and bluegrass. I'm on a serious country kick lately and I'm proud to say it.

The six things I could never do without

I'll switch this to things I wouldn't like to do without because I've pretty much found that I can do anything if I really want to or have to.

This question always confuses me at these sites. But, my dad was once advised not to marry my mother because there were allegedly horse thieves somewhere in her family tree. So, be forewarned. Horse thieves.
