I’m a native Nashvillian who followed her interest in public policy all the way to DC while also trying to fulfill her life long goal of becoming a Beyonce back up dancer.

I’m looking for someone with a great sense of humor who is spontaneous and willing to try new things.

Digging myself out of piles of documents as a paralegal in an attempt to better prepare myself for law school. While the copy machine, paper shredder, and I have become the best of friends, it’s the research part I actually enjoy.

Teaching people how to dougie, being optimistic, and making the most out of situations.

My curly hair and my smile- apparently people in the northeast don’t smile as much as we southerners do.

Food: Too many to list- I love trying new restaurants.

The type of law I want to practice. I currently work in a corporate firm. The people are great and it’s a really nice job, but it’s not what I want to do with the rest of my life. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful to have this job and I am learning a lot about myself and the legal profession, but ultimately I need to do something more people oriented. I go back and forth almost daily as to whether I would like to do humanitarian based immigration or education policy.

I also spend time pondering important life questions such as how cops on segways arrest people (do they make them trot behind? Do then tie them to a tree and come back?) or why the guy I see most days on my morning commute insists on wearing 80 million layers of clothing, but is clearly dripping with sweat.

Hanging out with friends or enjoying a drink on my roof (sometimes, these activities are combined).

I have always wanted to learn to play the harmonica.
