I am funny, intelligent, and an awesome friend.
My Self-Summary
I have a book hidden somewhere inside of me that I'm trying to urge
out through my keyboard to the computer screen. I'm a great friend,
a good listener and I know some killer jokes. I like good wine,
movies, great books, good food and the time to enjoy them all. My
friends are very important to me - I still have close friends from
Junior High School, and I continue to meet new friends in the
historic neighborhood I moved into 12 years ago. My guilty pleasure
is peppermint ice cream. I exercise regularly and am thinner now
than I've been since early college days. I've got some wrinkles,
but am proud to have them as it means I've made it a long way but
with more good stuff still to come.
What I’m doing with my life
Well, how many times have we heard this recently? I've been laid
off from a job I had for over 11 years and am continuing to seek
employment. The first thing I did, in between applying for jobs,
was to dig a 25 foot trench and then make a brick pathway from the
deck to the garage. I've worked a lot of temporary jobs friends
have steered my way. I've started on that book I know is inside of
me and work on it when I can. Mostly though, I'm applying for jobs.
I’m really good at
keeping my friends laughing.
The first things people usually notice about me
Hmmm. I don't know - no one's ever told me that. Maybe I should ask
you?
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love to read. I read Mysteries/Thrillers (Lee Child, when are you
coming out with another Reacher book? I'm dying here.), Science
Fiction, Fantasy, Novels, biographies, magazines, newspapers,
cereal boxes....pretty much anything with words on paper - or on a
computer screen. I like all sorts of movies as well, but tend to
steer toward comedies - I've got enough drama in my life trying to
find another job. I'm a rock n' roller from way back, but am
enjoying other types of music now that I'm older. I love going to
the Bass for plays, concerts and other events. Downtown Fort Worth
fascinates me. I love seafood, Mexican food, Vietnamese spring
rolls, popcorn and watermelon. Not necessarily in that order
either. I pretty much like most foods you can think of.
The six things I could never do without
My family.
My friends.
Books.
Music.
Love.
Popcorn.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
where next to apply for a job.
On a typical Friday night I am
with friends on a front porch or a deck, drinking wine, talking and
laughing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Well, there's.......uh, no, not here......how about.....oh...not
that either.......I like to.....wow, too personal.......looks like
nothing currently.
And btw - sexual preferences are extremely personal. If you want me
to answer questions regarding what I would like to do to you before
you'll read my messages then you are going to miss out on a pretty
cool lady. The internet is no place for those discussions.
You should message me if
You're a good man who loves to laugh, enjoys a smart, sincere
woman, and wants to be part of a loving relationship at this point
in our lives.
