My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Kyle and I am 33 years old. I'm originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania (Billy Joel, who has a song about Allentown, is a liar, it's a total dump, ha). I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy exercising, hiking, yoga at acac, music, and reading.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at floatation tank center (you earn some major points if you even know what that is). It is by far the best job I have ever had and I feel very fortunate to actually do something I am genuinely interested in. I used to be a teacher but it just wasn't for me. I also work a few nights a week at the sushi restaurant Ten downtown.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being a good listener and giving solid advice. I can make people laugh and am able to get along with almost anyone. I can do a mean Nicolas Cage and DMX impression (separately, not a strange combo of the two) and a few others, I also have the ability to remember lyrics to too many songs, many of them I wish I could forget.
The first things people usually notice about me

is my height. I'm only 6'2", but I guess a lot of people are on the shorter side. People also tell me I have a "familiar" face and think they have met me before, and sometimes insist that I went to their college when I did not. Maybe I was really popular in a previous life?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like reading books on philosophy, the human mind, and spirituality.

I like comedies and dramas when it comes to tv and movies. I also like watching really awful things and making fun of them.

I like most kinds of music except country but my go to genres are 90's hip-hop/r&b, alternative rock, cheesy love/monster ballads. I sing awfully to many songs in my car and couldn't care less if you rolled up aside me and caught me in the act (I often use hand gestures like I am performing to a crowd). Podcasts are also starting to consume my life.

I tend to eat very healthy, but can put in work on some food when the mood strikes me. I am a beer and coffee snob, and I am unapologetic about it. If you drink trashy coffee and/or beer, I can and will be judging you for it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Peanut Butter and Chocolate combination, the greatest innovation by humans
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think of ways I can improve and be a better person, seriously. I think about what this whole "life" thing is about, seriously...I know nobody has a clue but I love thinking about the possibilities and talking to other people about their approaches, philosophies, and beliefs, but at the same time knowing that I know absolutely nothing and to not take anything too seriously. I am also trying to spend more time not thinking at all, quieting the mind and experiencing what is.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
usually working unfortunately (for now). In my free time I like to go to the gym, do yoga, see live music, go out to eat, drink way too much coffee and read for hours at Cafe Cubano on the weekends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

is that I can be shy at times. It's not like I'm a mute or anything like that (no offense if you are in fact a mute). I know that once I get comfortable with someone, I can be a pretty funny and outgoing person, and most likely talk too much. It's a delicate balance. Feel free to tell me to shut up.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you have a great sense of humor (gotta be cool with acting stupid and joking around), an easy going, selfless personality, you are honest, you don't depend on anyone other than yourself for your own happiness, and you are open minded to all different types of people. I'm interested in meeting new people, whether for a relationship or just friends. I'm looking to surround myself with good-natured, positive people. Also message me if you find it disturbing that someone is considered your "enemy" on here if you don't answer some generic questions the same. I think we can get along. However, materialistic and judgmental people need not apply, ain't nobody got time for that.
