I'm sincere, friendly but honest. I guess you could describe me as "low-key." I'm not judgmental, but I'm not afraid to speak my mind. I'm rational and I appreciate a good sense of humor. I'm passionate about my interests, and tend to gravitate toward people who feel similarly. In terms of personality, I've had more than a few friends say that I most resemble Larry David on "Curb Your Enthusiasm." So, brace yourself...

I'm probably one of those pinko liberal secular male feminist types that those right-wing AM radio and FOX News pundits warned you about, but I follow reason before any political ideology. (I can't help it if reality has a liberal bias, however...)

LIKES: Film, documentaries, art, animation, nature, science, thinking, good conversation.

DISLIKES: Superficiality, willful ignorance, superstition, and fruit in cookies.

For what it's worth, I've met or have had a conversation with Tim Burton, Werner Herzog, Noam Chomsky, Lawrence Krauss, Spike Jonze, Maureen Gosling, Louise Erdrich, Les Blank, James Earl Jones, Kelly Reichardt, Al Franken, Pete Docter (Pixar's director of "Monsters, Inc." and "Up"), Michael Moore, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Pharrell Williams, Bill Plympton, Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim, David Liebe Hart, James Quall, Tommy Wiseau, and Greg Sistero.

I'm currently working as a post-production supervisor and editor for a documentary film and media production company in Brooklyn.

Also just finished up a project of my own: a feature-length documentary about the greatest animated film never made. Now doing the film festival thing. It's been a big project. Filming has taken me to London, Toronto, and New York. I've met a lot of fascinating people, and it's been an exciting journey about an amazing, tragic, and largely unknown story of art, obsession, and dreams.

I recently finished reading "Watership Down" by Richard Adams and "A Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole.

My hair. Barbers are always complimenting me on its thickness and softness. It tends to be fairly voluminous, too.

FOOD: Chinese, Thai, Mexican, American, Japanese, pizza, seafood, and chocolate chip cookies. If pizza is the food of the gods, then Brooklyn is Mount Olympus.
