What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
During the day, I have an amazing job in operations at a software company. I work on internal publicity and I help with event planning. I love my job.

Off the clock, I get up to all sorts of nonsense. Practicing my imagination, playing on the internet, reveling with friends, threading needles, waiting at stoplights.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I've been a maker all my life. I love to be creative and make anything that comes to me. I've done everything from sawing off the heads of lawn flamingos and mounted them on plaques as faux taxidermy, to recreating a Piet Mondrian painting in the form of a crocheted blanket.

I'm very good at going through airport security. I have the process down to an efficient art.

Walking in heels.
The first things people usually notice about me

I think people usually notice my short hair first. It's not super common for girls to have short hair, but I love it.

My, that's a broad topic.

As for books, I like to read the classics. I like having a strong base in the canon. (Did I just say that?) I also like light easy reads that you can finish in 3 hours too. For instance, I just read all of the Hunger Games books and (I hate to admit) all of Lauren Conrad's LA Candy books. I'm currently reading Etiquette by Emily Post. I figured it was time to read the rule book of civility. I'm also listening to East Of Eden on tape. Summer weather always gets me in the mood for American classics.

I like most movies. I love weird, old culty movies. But I like to keep up with pop culture too, so I'll almost always see what's out now. I could quote along with Annie Hall, Grease, and Mean Girls.

I think TV is lots of fun. It's great to go home after a hard day and space out to some brain candy. I've seen every episode of both Seinfeld and The Hills. I don't expect someone I date to also watch the crap television I love. I currently don't have a tv so that kind of takes care of that.

My musical taste really depends on my mood. Opera, screamo, classic rock, foreign rap, pop, and musical soundtracks all have a safe home in my itunes library. Recently I've been jumping between Wilderness by Middle Brother and Hardcore Girls by Rye Rye.

I love food. I will always try everything once. And typically several times after that. I have a hard time saying no to pulled pork or pepperoni pizza. I love Indian food and Ethiopian food, but I will try anything. Seriously. Anything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Lip gloss, sharp scissors, hot glue, my social outlets, good lighting, ice.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend time thinking about imaginary things. Replaying conversations, the next craft project, bad ideas, intraspective self-improvement, what I'll wear tomorrow, how things operate, ways to decorate my home, wishing for things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Is there a typical Friday night?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm signed up for summer Jazzercise classes.
