I am ambitious, funny, and independent. I like to laugh and have fun, but know when to be serious. I am looking for a best friend who I can have fun with, be myself, and grow old with. Someone that will push me to fulfill my goals and dreams. I have a positive outlook on life and need someone who does the same. If you are battling depression you can stop reading and go to the next profile. I need a glass half-full kinda guy. I know this is an odd place to look for that, but you never know these days... I just don't know how I would be able to answer the question of "How did you guys meet?" Maybe we can come up with a funny story instead...

I'm not on here to look for a random hook-up OR a friend with benefits. Do not expect me to send vulgar pictures of myself; I do have a sense of self-worth. Do not send me a message if you don't know the meaning of being a true gentleman. Do not give me a pet name in your message; i.e. Mama, sexy, babe, baby, etc.

I know what I want in life and will get it one way or another. I know what hard work is and don't take life for granted. If you can live by that philosophy, maybe it'll work out.

I finished my 2nd degree and am looking for a classroom to call my own. I work part-time right now for a job that I never saw myself doing after I graduated, but I need something to pay the bills with while the gov't figures out the education crisis. I've been networking with a few school district administrators, so hopefully I'll be teaching my own class soon enough. Patience is a virtue and I can wait for it.

I have been helping my grandparents out with renovations on their home. We've put in floating laminate floors, ceramic tile, new plumbing, and electrical. Next is a complete kitchen remodel. I'm eventually going to surprise them with a master bedroom add-on for my grandfather. They have NO CLUE!

I have many plans for my future, a house of my own within the next year or so, more certifications to broaden my degree, and eventually my masters. I want to own some land and get some 4-wheelers, goats, and pigs, and a 5th wheel travel trailer. I warned you... I am independent and ambitious!

Planning. I am one of those people that has to have some sort of control or schedule. I like surprises but I have to have controlled chaos. I guess that's why I'm in the teaching profession! Everyday is controlled chaos!

I'm also good at listening when you have to vent or just talk out an issue, and I'm full of useless knowledge about random stuff. I've also been told I'd make a good psychologist by more than a few people. "Come in, have a seat.... I'm listening!" haha

the future! I'm ready to settle down with someone special, but I'm not one to throw myself into a bad situation out of desperation. I have standards that I'm not willing to compromise on.

I also think a lot about my family... the grandparents are still alive (thank God) but are getting up there in age. I like to spend as much time as I can with them, and tell them I love them every chance I get. My parents are amazing and have been married for 28 years now and that's quite a feat these days! They all have their good and bad days like the rest of us but I especially worry about their bad days! No one needs that kind of stress in their lives.

Out and about! I work Monday through Friday so the weekends are MINE! I like to go to concerts, comedy clubs, have a drink with friends, anything fun really! Laser tag, go karts, mudding, fishing, paintballing, maybe go to Dave & Buster's or ice skating! I saw there is zip lining available in Austin and Tipsy canvas in Corpus Christi. Both of those are on my to-do list. I'm pretty random so it could be any of the above or something completely off the beaten path! I've been road trippin to Austin quite a bit as well. I'm looking on visiting Houston and Dallas in the near future. Try me, I'm always up for a new adventure!
