I'm a freelance stage manager and the Managing Director of a fantastic theater company that I helped start. I'm perpetually on a journey of artistic exploration and finding the ways to be creative in my day to day life.

I also have two jobs that actually pay me. Getting dressed up like cartoon characters and hugging kids all day and being a technician at a kickass theater. They are super rewarding and take up the vast majority of my time lately.

I spend my days planning meetings, going to meetings, doing IRS paperwork, going on small adventures, watching/listening to podcasts and Instant Netflix, going to random jobs, running silly errands, in transit (both literally and metaphorically)

A lot! I try to be diverse and learn new things. I especially love organizing, socializing, being a good friend, blowing bubbles, laughing, finding new routes to get places, being nerdy, knowing random stuff about Ancient Rome, knitting, sewing, taking public transit, running to get to aforementioned public transit, running 5 minutes late, being excellent

My laugh, it's pretty loud and I like to use it. I have a lot of friendships based on the fact that I make people feel like they are funny. (Usually they are)

I love any word ever written by Nabokov, non-fiction about history, religion, and social issues, Allen and Greenough's New Latin Grammar

I dig Charlie Kaufman movies and Stranger Than Fiction as well as trashy 80s movies, Disney movies or the humor of Kevin Smith.

My musical tastes are a little all over the place: classic rock to the Beatles to Lady Gaga to musical theater to my roommate's Danish folk music collection

I like a lot of different food. I've been trying to eat a new dish every time I go out and making lots of new food at home too. I've been eating a lot of Sri Racha lately and feeling pretty good about it. I recently learned that I like pineapple.

Also I sobbed during the intermission of Wicked, not because the end of the first act was particularly sad, but because the actress got into a fly harness in under 12 seconds and that's the kind of stuff that makes me do theater.
