I'm originally from Massachusetts and went to college in Maine. I love spending time outside, whether skiing, hiking, or swimming in water that is way too cold. After college I lived in Boston for a bit, then left for grad school in Philly and then a job in DC. I love to travel and have also spent time in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Europe. I just moved back to Boston this summer!

Teaching high school English at a charter school in Cambridge. I eventually want to move into education policy, but in the meantime I have some entertaining stories at the end of the day.

Scrabble/Bananagrams, slowly improving my cooking skills, organizing dinner parties/happy hours/etc, being a navigator for road trips, building furniture from Ikea.

Books - I'll read basically anything but I love To Kill a Mockingbird, The Great Gatsby, and anything by John Irving and Richard Russo.

Movies - Good Will Hunting, As Good As It Gets, Love Actually, and (embarrassingly) most romantic comedies (the cheesier, the better - although the winner is definitely How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days).

Shows - Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, and I can quote way too much of Friends.

Music - I'm easy and will listen to just about anything!

Food - Cheese, hands down.
