I'm a brainy, busty and sometimes bawdy BBW. Actually, I'm a little less BBW lately and moving toward pleasingly plump. I enjoy reading, creative writing, browsing antique shops, and visiting art museums. I also like swimming, traveling, and well educated younger men (men around my age are okay too). I prefer men with a college education, but if you are an eloquent and well read gentleman with only a high school education, then let's talk too. I'm friendly, easy going and a people person. Homeowner, professionally employed, and a single mom with one child at home.

Please check out my new pics. Things have changed. I am looking quite a bit different. I've gone through a 60 pound weight loss and am still losing. My life situation has changed too as I was laid off due to funding cuts at my job. I was laid off for 4 1/2 months, but have found a job in a new profession. I now work with assisting people with physical and/or developmental disabilities, and the last two weeks, I've worked 50 hours a week. I love my job so the time seems to fly by. The down time during the lay-off was a wonderful time to work on increasing my creativity and developing new hobbies. I am giving serious consideration to going back to college. If that's the case, when the economy pics up again, I could be more qualified for the jobs that are out there. The economy is VERY seriously depressed where I live, so I'm open to relocation after my youngest child graduates high school in two years.

I think my forties were some of the best years of my life as I got away from a problematic marriage, ended a dead end job, went back to college and earned all As, graduated, and finally found a job I loved! I love working with and helping people and was a counselor working with teens, men and women who have drug and alcohol problems. However, due to the economy and funding cuts, my job was eliminated. I am so thankful that I was able to find another job that I like just as much.

My fifties are starting out just as challenging. I'm having to rethink everything in my life. On the other hand, I look better and feel better than I have in 25 years. I'm optimistic and up for the challenge and eager to find out what life brings in the future!

Books: Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, Shogun by James Clavell, The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan, the Earth's Children series by Jean Auel (Clan of the Cave Bear, Mammoth Hunter, Valley of Horses, etc.), The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd

Movies: The Color Purple, The Joy Luck Club, The Prince of Tides, The Fisher King, Amelie, Clara's Heart, Where the Heart Is, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Crying Game. I like foreign films and movies that make you think.

TV: I don't watch much TV and most of my favorite shows have been cancelled, such as HBO's Sex and the City, Six Feet Under (best series finale EVER in the history of tv!), Carnivale, Oz. Current favorites are Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, and Nip/Tuck. Oh, and Beavis and Butthead used to make me laugh my butt off.

Ok, that is less than six. I'm sure there are more, but the only other things I can think of are things I wouldn't want to do without. I've had to do without things I thought I needed and obviously didn't perish.

Everything and nothing.

Sometimes working, sometimes hanging out with friends, more often than not spending time at home with my family.

I think lawn gnomes are a little bit creepy.

You're male, you're intensely intelligent, quirky, and younger. Even if you're my age, give it a whirl.
