I am a kind, easy going, ethical, and fairly self-assured person. I prefer to go with the flow as long as I don't mind where it takes me. I don't need the illusion of control to feel calm. I'm generally quiet in groups but not soft spoken when I choose to speak. I'm easy to talk to and to be around. I can be extremely funny or very serious. I enjoy traveling to big cities or camping in the wilderness, being outdoors, frisbee golf, listening to music, playing music by myself or with others, games of all kinds including sports, and celebrations. I am an INTP with an old soul and a young heart. I look much younger than my age, have a good relationship with my family, and a small number of close friends.

I finished grad school this past January and work as a dietitian at a Family Practice. In general, I try to help people find a way to be happy and healthy in a unhealthy and often psychotic society.

Books/Authors: Neil Stephenson, Frank Herbert, Isaac Asimov, William Gibson, Ray Bradbury, JD Salinger, China Mieville, Vernor Vinge, Dan Simmons, J.R.R. Tolkien. Just finished reading the Game of Thrones books.

Movies: I like all kinds of movies from 28 Days Later to Finding Nemo. I go see mostly block-buster type movies at the cinema but like going to the art house as well (they have better popcorn). On the couch, I'll watch just about anything with the right company.

Music: Pavement, Arcade Fire, Archer's of Loaf, Beach House, Beck, Bowerbirds, Guided by Voices, Johnny Cash, Ween, Wilco, Girls. My favorite solo artist is Bill Callahan.

Food: I love ethnic, spicy, and exotic foods. Mexican, Greek, Chinese, Thai, Indian, brunch, burritos, and Whole Foods pretty much sums up my restaurant diet.

Hmmm....other that the basic needs of life: food, water, shelter, and companionship, I think I could learn to do without anything but I do like to have a lady in my life.

At a live music show, hanging out with friends, out of town, or relaxing playing music, watching a movie, or reading.
