My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A self summary of who I am. I am a guy that loves a lot of things. I enjoy reading, working with my hands, solving problems, being with my pooches, and mostly being outdoors.

I am a pretty simple guy. I enjoy the simple things in life like a walk in the woods, sitting by a lake or river, or in the backyard at night staring at the stars. I don't need a lot of things to be happy. I am not out to gain a ton of wealth, so I can buy a bunch of worthless garbage that will be outdated in 3 months to try and impress people that don't give a shit about me.

I could be happy sitting in a small cabin in the woods or a high rise apartment in a city. I'd prefer the woods, but there aren't many jobs in the woods and I need to keep my dogs fed.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am educated as a civil engineer. I've worked in construction, but lately I am disappointed by development. I am working on going back to college for my master's degree in CE, with a possible focus in hydrology, biomimicry, or geotechnical engineering. I would like to find a way to develop a way to co-exist with nature and not force it into submission.

I am ramping up to go on a thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Problem solving. I guess that's why I went into engineering. I like to look at things and figure them out.

I also am really good at fixing things. You know what they say, "If women don't find you handsome, they should at least should find you handy." :-)

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family, my dogs, nature, my sight, my mobility, and water.
I spend a lot of time thinking about

On a typical Friday night I am

I have a deep dislike of diamonds. It is carbon people! There are far more precious and rare elements out there!

And a complete 90 degree turn, I also like to sew.
