My Self-Summary

Hi. My user name is kagomeshuko. I'm a very devout Christian and have beliefs that fit well as a liberal Lutheran. However, I currently attend an Episcopal church, and my beliefs match that as well. I also believe in the miracles that still happen today and am not stolid about these things. It is good to emote and love God and have gifts of the spirit. I love to write and read. I love to learn about many different things. I can also be quite sarcastic at times, but people tend to love my dry sense of humor as it is not "wrong," but just sarcastic and dry with a mix of wordplay as well.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently a freelance writer. I am self-employed. This way I can spend time with my family, and hopefully eventually my new dog] (My beloved Beagle and Black lab mix died on December 22, 2008). My father died on May 4, 2008. I am looking for friends first, but I do want to have a relationship! I love friends and hopefully one of those friendships can turn into something more serious.

I do want to get married and I also want to have children. I love kids and like spending time with them.

I don't like being alone, but this does not mean that I cannot be alone at times. It runs in the family, at least from my grandfather. It just means that I like to know that there are people around me. I can often be completely content sitting against a wall or on a bench in a fairly empty space if I know people are in or around that area.

I’m really good at

Writing articles, short stories, and poetry. Also, youth ministry and mentoring. I also love dogs. My dog is my baby as Marbles was my big baby.

The fact that I am nice and try not to judge. Also, my eyes and my smile.

Books: The Bible, Posseession by A.S. Byatt, The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner, Interstellar Pig by William Slater, Handling Sin by Michael Malone, and a lot more (listing all the books that I like would take up my whole profile).

The six things I could never do without

God, Jesus Christ who is my savior, the Holy Spirit, family, friends, and writing utensils, and obviously a seventh thing is something on which to write.

On a typical Friday night I am

Sitting inside and reading, writing, or using the computer meaning often playing on the Internet. Sometimes I am meeting with my writer friends at the Coffee Beanery. However, this is not my ideal Friday night many times. I would like an activity partner at the least that may turn into more.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am a born again virgin or second generation version. I am not going to engage in sexual activity again until after marriage. I know some guys do not find this appealing. I know that sex does feel great, but it is hard on a relationship if it doesn't work and I want to be faithful to the person that will spend the rest of my life with me who will be a great friend and also my lover.
