My Self-Summary
i am bad at talking about myself, and usually to other people.
sometimes i have rare moments of conversational lucidity. and
sometimes when i'm nervous i use big words needlessly. and once i
start talking, i forget to stop. it's kind of a problem. i'm
working on it.
What I’m doing with my life
i just graduated from lsu, but i still work at a research lab
on-campus. and at the gap. it's a living. i'm thinking about grad
school and such, but i'm not in any sort of hurry.
I’m really good at
overthinking, cooking, writing, reading, listening.
The first things people usually notice about me
i am way more outgoing than i used to be, but sometimes i'm pretty
quiet and introverted until i get really comfortable with whoever's
around. i used to attribute this to shyness, but sometimes i think
i'm just more of an observer. i don't like to say things unless
they're contributing and relevant. or really good one-liners.

Movies: Moulin Rouge, The Hours, Junebug
TV: Lost, Battlestar Galactica, The Closer, Project Runway (yes.)

Foods: pretty much anything, though I try to avoid (i.e., basically refuse to eat) fast food.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
other people. the future. where i'm forgetting to be. whether my
cell phone is vibrating or it's just that feeling i get in my leg
when i think it is but it's really not.
On a typical Friday night I am
at the gap. or at home. or, rarely, out. (!)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
um... i like well-written fantasy novels. and i secretly want to
write one. but that's years and years and years off.
