I am fickle, neurotic, and optimistic.

My Self-Summary

I've always struggled with these things, I feel like maybe I've got quite a few personalities, and whichever one is in control tends to fill this thing in, then a few days later I read it and cringe at myself. I'm not trying to imply that I'm schizophrenic, I just think having only one personality is boring.

What I’m doing with my life

Studying political science. Which isn't a science by the way. People always look amazed when I say "political science" like "wooah, that sounds weird and amazing and hard". It's just a long word for politics. It's really interesting. Unlike science. Also, I work in an absolutely GORGEOUS Book Store, I used to work in Whitcoull's which felt like what it was: sucking corporate dick and now I get to work for an independent. Although, today at work Coca-Cola came in and tried to get us to sell their "teasers" on the counter. The guys were such wankers too, I told them I thought it would "bring down the tone" of the store. Ha.

I’m really good at

Filling in forms.

The first things people usually notice about me

No idea! Probably overhearing my conversation. I love having rude conversations in public.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Jesus, Why don't I just tell you my Jungian Personality type while we're at it? Ha. Whatever.

a) 1984 (Orwell), Drugs are Nice: A Post Punk Memoir (Lisa Carver), Maus (Art Spiegelman), Memories of My Melancholy Whores (Marquez). A lot more.

b) Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Waking Life. Anatomy of Hell. I Heart Huckabees Koyanisqatsi. The Office (The Brit version).

c)Broken Social Scene, Le Tigre, Dandy Warhols, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Diefenbach, Feist, Metric, Devendra Banhart, Iron & Wine and a lot more, from many different genres. I like a LOT of music and I'm very open to sensible suggestions.

d) Foods? HA! Practically everything. But especially Indian.

The six things I could never do without

my friends, my family, dancing, music, good food and drink, social contact. The usual things really, it's hard to think that humanity is disgusting and evil when most of you humans out there couldn't do without your friends. Aww.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Travelling, and not neccessarily in any kind of noble sense. I like imagining myself somewhere else, like, what would I be like sitting in a cafe in Casablanca?

On a typical Friday night I am

These days? Jesus. Probably stoned... and.. No. Friday nights are way too embarrassing to talk about.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I watch Desperate Housewives.
