My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a young professional living the dream, working hard, and having fun along the way. I'm outgoing, spontaneous, and always looking for the next adventure.

I moved to the salty city from SF (late 2012) and am still trying to explore all the things Utah has to offer. I've been a California native since I was 4, and thought I was going to be a lifer o'er there, but the promise of light powder, access to the outdoors, and a fantastic and flexible job gave me the motivation to change direction. In what I can only defend as a display of impetuous bravado, I moved here, bought a house, and got a puppy... so, yeah, it looks like I'll be here for the foreseeable future. I don't regret it for a second (though I still head back to the bay area every few months -- friends are important to me, and I seem to think I have the best friends).

I enjoy everything outdoors... skiing gives me the most kicks, but I have a passion for the summer as well. I have a bucket list... it is constantly growing (and then shrinking as I check things off... but mainly growing). After exploring California from top to bottom, I realize that Utah has some phenomenal things to check out. I find its much more fun exploring with friends -- experiences are meant to be shared.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in healthcare... I try to fix people when they are broken. That said, I am always interested in looking more globally to find ways that we can impact and change the world around us.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Adventures... spontaneity... and learning new things. I'm a bit of a jack of all trades, and often can become proficient in anything I put effort into. That sounds narcissistic. I don't know how to answer this question humbly.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Is my laugh... I can't really control it, it just comes with the territory
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I don't watch very much TV... In fact not at all since moving to salt lake. There are a lot of other things I'd rather be doing than watching TV. I am, however, a bit of a youtube addict. If there is a clever youtube video, chances are I've seen it. I prefer movies to TV, and thus have a projector screen rather than investing in a new TV. (confession: I hardly know how to work the TV in my house).

I love to read, sadly sometimes reading for pleasure gets unfairly put on the backburner. I'm going to include in no particular order: metamorphasis, waiting for godot, rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead, the divine comedy, watership down, and the butter battle book.

I'm not going to write an exhaustive list of movies, but I can say that I have perhaps watched The Big Lebowski more times than any other movie -- and have become fond of its associated drinking games.

Ditto with the not listing lots of music... I have an eclectic taste, and don't discriminate. I can enjoy hip-hop, folk, alternative, electronic music, or a quartet - and dubstep makes my ears bleed in a good way and I find it strangely invigorating - country isn't my bag, although I grew up with a lot of friends listening to it. I am rather fond of music festivals... Bridge School, Coachella, Treasure Island, EDC etc. And I have to contend that 1994 was the best year in history for music.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
sunshine, youtube, my computer, mangos (or coconuts... hard to decide), friendships, and my new puppy Jabu.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Making the most of my time
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
tough to say... I work in a hospital and my schedule changes so often that I only occasionally have fridays off, my days off are often random. But when free, I'm often doing something social, or busting out of town for the next adventure. I'm the kind of person who goes out the night before then rallies the next morning.

you're interested... seems simple enough.

But... You have to be independent, confident, intelligent and spontaneous.

And to add some further specificity, if you don't ski/board and don't enjoy camping, we are potentially less long-term compatible, though not deal breakers.
