Music has always been an important part of my life. It's seen me
through rough times and helped me celebrate good times! I love rock
in all its guises: alternative, hard rock, grunge, metal, etc. I
also like blues, bluegrass, some jazz, big band, classical, and
world music. Listening to these bands lately: Lumineers, Mumford
& Sons, Fun, Foo Fighters, Live, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in
Chains, SoundGarden, Counting Crows (what a lyricist Adam Duritz
is), Linkin Park, Blink 182, Weezer, Cage the Elephant, Queens of
the Stone Age, Queen, ELO, Earth Wind & Fire, etc.
Books - love to read - lots of genres. Mystery, thriller, drama,
bios, anthropology, history, etc. I'm currently reading GONE GIRL
by Gillian Flynn – WOW! Talk about a wacked relationship! Dean
Koontz (love Odd Thomas). Spencer Quinn (mysteries narrated by a
dog). H.P. Lovecraft. Theodore Sturgeon. Sherri Reynolds. Whatever
grabs my attention at B&N.
I don't own a TV but do keep up with a few shows online. The
Killing on A&E; Grimm; Sherlock on BBC; Wire in the Blood on
BBC/Netflix. That's all that comes to mind! I'd rather listen to
music or see a movie.
I love a wide range of movies: some zombie movies (love, love, love
Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead); drama, romantic comedies,
action, etc. Love Daniel Craig as Bond but I love all the Bonds! I
love movies with great action and chase scenes (any Bond film) but
I also like movies that move me. Got any recommendations?
I love ethnic food, particularly Indian, Thai, Mexican, Chinese.
Also love seafood and sushi!!! And I love to cook.
