I'm David. One word to describe me? Geek. Yes, I like scifi, video games, horror movies, I'm an internet addict, technology & computers lover, and known for my goofy humor... all that stuff.

I really love coffee.

I think that deserves its own line. I drink it all during the day, even late in the day / early evenings and yes, I still sleep soundly without problems. I love finding new ways to make it too (such as cold brewing, mmm)...

I enjoy random trips to random places. Though since moving into my new apartment last year I haven't been on as many random trips as I would like.

I like trying new things. foods, hobbies, new music, etc.. I keep an open mind and like to expose myself even to things I think I may not like, just in case.. this is how I came to love sushi. Its also how I came to get into my biggest hobby, photography. One day I decided, "heck I wanna learn to do this." Wouldn't you know it, this was before digital and 'learning' meant wasting a lot of film (and money). I mostly enjoy landscapes and just taking photos when Im adventuring but Ive been known to shoot events for friends and coworkers and they always seem happy with the results.

I love adventures, and never get 'lost', though sometimes it DOES take me longer to get where I'm going or get back. I have been known to go off on a whim occasionally and drive all over NH to just find the perfect picture or decide that heck, I'm going to ride my bicycle from here (Exeter) to work (Newburyport) just to see if I can do it (still working on getting into shape for that, goal : late September).

A friend asked me what my favorite movie was. I couldn't cut it down to one. I had to choose three. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Back to the Future and Its a Wonderful Life.

I'm looking for someone who I can share my many interests and hobbies with. I am very affectionate and desire someone who is similar. I am looking for someone who is interested in building and cultivating a long term relationship but who isn't in a rush, I enjoy the journey.

*Building a Fallout 'Vault Dweller' costume. Its a long WIP. Been looking for a specific craft paint for some pieces.

I think that I tend to talk a lot when I first meet people, but its just because Im shy. When it comes to getting to really know me, Ive been told that I tend to put up walls when I first meet people so its hard to get to know the real me. You'll have to experience it for yourself.

That said, I've also been told I can be an intense person. I don't tend to hold back on how I feel or about things that interest me. I believe in diving right into something until its exhausted. Why put your heart partway into things you want to love?

I tend to overthink and overanalyze things. Its the nature of how my mind works. So at any given time, if Im not letting my mind wander and relax, Im likely thinking about whatever is current in my life .. over and over again.

Working! Haha. Im either out with friends hanging and watching a movie or having dinner, or staying in at home and reading or relaxing.

While I say that I want to take it slow in any relationship, and that is my intention .. I tend to fall quickly with the right people. Im a very logical person and feel comfortable when I can understand and explain the things around me - but my heart and how it feels I stopped trying to explain long ago and instead just follow where it leads, for better or worse.

You like geek guys who are looking for an equal partner to share and enjoy life with.

Id like to take it slow, chat a little here and maybe meet in person for some casual shared interest and take it from there. Im not big on labels and Im in no rush for the physical stuff.

I guess that means Im looking for friends with potential to become more but with no pressure.
