Anyway, I'm a little new to this, but my friend said it was fun and I figured I would give it a shot. Just think of what our grandparents would have thought of online dating.
So lets talk about me, that's what your reading this for, correct? Well, lets start with as a kid, I was a good mixture of shy and outgoing. I was never the class clown but always seemed to get a good laugh out of my circle of friends. I played tennis and was geeky, but really that was behind closed doors. However, now I own it and love being what I am, but by the looks of me you can't really tell(or so I am told).
I've definitely come out of my shell when it comes to being shy, and I think that my combination of outgoing-ness and love for technology has helped me out. I'd tell you more but that's top secret. Alright, alright, you win! Twisted my arm.(yes this is a sad attempt to show that I'm playful)..maybe I'll tell you some other time.
Anyway, I guess the geekiness paid off because I currently work as a product manager for a software company in midtown. I get to deal with people all day and with technology. Somehow I was able to combine two things I love! During the week and on the weekends I try to be active with mountain biking, yoga, and other fun activities around Atlanta. I enjoy going out on a Friday night, and particularly drinking a good craft brew. Try Monday night brewery if you haven't yet! I also like(try) to play instruments and love all things social media(twitter, Instagram, vine, etc...). I love trying new things, and being adventurous. I also don't really have a type, but I so have a thing for bangs. Maybe that's strange? I don't think so. To be quite honest, I'm really just looking for some good conversations. That's what I truly want.
That being said, some things that I have noticed that I'll share with you...
1. Human beings are emotionally stimulated creatures. Tone creates more of a vibe then written words through texting/email. Communication over the phone is a much better way to get to know someone then reading something through text, as most people's jokes aren't conveyed the way they mean to. Way to sense more of a connection then through messages. Also, I believe there should be a sarcastic font, but hey that's just me.
2. Something even better then that is a Skype video chat.... If there is an attraction through Skype then there will be one in real life. Also, this proves as a way to not be afraid of what happens on catfish(if you haven't seen this show, it's actually quite interesting for MTV).
Everyone is busy, but 15 minutes is something anyone could truly spare. Plus disconnecting from the Internet is much easier then walking away from someone at coffee or dinner if its a drag!
Enough free thoughts, soon I'll be charging advice fees, but at a discounted rate for you.
Enough about me... Are you ready? Tell me about you!
(This is me listening intently, you have my undivided attention and I have a smile from ear to ear.)
