Gummi bears, coffee and chocolate get me through the day. I love being silly and sarcastic. That said I can be serious too when the situation calls for it.

I have lived in the city for 10 years but feel as if I have not had enough time to explore it and see everything. Sadly, I still have not made it to the art museum yet. I keep saying that I will get there but that day still has not come. Lately, I have been involved in competing in "the amazing race" styles of competions which has allowed me to see and do some really interesting things in the city, along with some disgusting challanges too.

I am a fan of playing video games, pool, darts, and board games. My favoite types of bars are those that are holes in the walls that offer great beer and a good jukebox.

My claim to fame is that I have had amnesia and I had been bitten by a vulture. Strange things seem to happen to me.

During the day, I am your typical science nerd working in biomedical research. When not at work...who knows what the night will bring ; )

Cooking and baking. Some specialties include a whiskey glaze for grilling and cupcakes for my niece and nephew. I've also been told I make a mean carrot cake.

Making up words and inserting them into everyday conversation. Usually this happens when giving presentations. I like to keep my audience guessing of what I will say next and seeing their confused faces while trying to figure out what I really meant to say.

I look younger than my real age.

Books: Mostly fiction for entertainment.

Movies: Mostly comedies or action. I tend to have a short attention span so I tend to watch fast paced movies that don't require too much thought. I also get frightened easily so to watch horror movies....I need someone to hold my hand for those.

Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mumford & Sons, Social D, Stevie Wonder, Johnny Cash, and Pitbull to name a few. My iPod currenlty has songs that I love and some songs that I am embarrassed to admit that I love.

Food: Hands down...Ethiopian.

How come most people list the "great literary works" as their favoite books? Isn't Maxim (for the men)/Cosmo (for the ladies) more informative? Personally knowing the best 55 sex positions is more educational in my opinion...just saying : )
