I am calm, open-minded, and inquisitive.
My Self-Summary
self-summary, right. I find it inherently impossible to summarize
myself, which I regard as a good thing (how boring would I be if I
were to be able to capture the 'summary' of me in a few lines?).
Still, there are certain facts of life which can be mentioned here.
Like the fact that I'm 23 years old, live in Belgium (town of
Leuven), have finished my university education (studied languages
and literature) and am about to start my first job (PhD.). Or the
fact that I like to travel, love to read and enjoy other people's
company most (though not all) of the time.
What I’m doing with my life
Living on my own and enjoying the independence and freedom that
come with it. Starting a PhD in English Literature (focus on
popular literature) Having a great time with myself, my family and
lots of friends. Life is good.
I’m really good at
euhm. Jezus, what a weird question to answer about yourself. Let's
say I'm good at being a loyal and caring friend, which I pride
myself on.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no idea, you would have to ask other people. I honestly
don't go about asking people I've just met what they first noticed
about me; I'm way to shy for that
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I LOVE stories; any form, any kind, any subjects matter: if the
story is good, I'm hooked. (hence my interest in popular
literature; I specialize in narrative structures). So I'm a big fan
of books and films (some films in particular I like: Lord of the
Rings trilogy, pixar's stuff (Shrek, Nemo, ...), etc.) music: I
like about anything, if I have to name a favorite I'ld say scores
for films (like LOTR, Amélie Poulin, etc.) food: I'm a
coffee-addict (in the best possible way; I'm not one of those 'I'm
hyper on dessigner-coffee'-types)
The six things I could never do without
other people books/stories my brain the internet young animals
(kittens, pups and the like tend to represent the essence of life)
my bed (there's nothing like snuggling in a big, warm bed)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
any and all manner of things, both general and personal.
On a typical Friday night I am
having dinner with family or friends, maybe I'm meeting friends
later at night for drinks or a movie or I might stay home to
read/work/watch a movie/enjoy my family
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
That's a trick question; putting something on the Net makes it
inherently public (hence as un-private as it can be).
