My self-summary
My inability to sleep - due to napping (aka being lazy) throughout the day and falling asleep early has brought me back to this website. So...here' goes

I am originally from Greenville, SC (and get back to that area often to visit family and friends). I moved to Attleboro, MA for a short period of time, but things just didn't work out for me there. So now I am in Bluffton, SC - actually Okatie which is 1/2 way between Bluffton/HHI and Beaufort. I have lived here for about 2 years, but have been in Beaufort County for just over 5 years.

I love music both as a listener and a performer. I am BIG TIME into musical theater. My current favorite show - and one I'd love to perform in - is WICKED! My last show as You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown (I played the lead) and I am hoping to do even more. In addition to listening and performing music, I am a music teacher (9 years under my belt now). I feel honored to be able to teach the next generation of musicians...hopefully bringing much better talent to the world than a lot of crap that's out there right now.

Ok, so if you REALLY need to know more about me, continue on explore my profile or just message/email me and I can tell you MUCH more.

I am musical, hilarious, and devoted
What I’m doing with my life
Mainly just teaching music and trying to get some performing in when I can.
I’m really good at
I am mostly good at musical things - singing and composing. I play a LITTLE piano but nothing that will get me into Carnegie Hall. I also love to perform and be on stage. In addition I love to act - just did my first 2 plays this year (though have done several musicals).
If you wanna know about the "other" things I'm good at...you'll just have to ask.
The first things people usually notice about me
I ususally get commented on my eyes. Some people also like to point out my dimples when I smile. :-)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: LOVE the Harry Potter series. Sad that it's all over though. I tend to gravitate to "juvinile" type books. In addition I love books by Rick Riordan like Percy Jackson and the other series hes created based on various mythologies. He wrote the first book of the 39 Clues series which I have also enjoyed reading.
I also like all books by Clyde Edgerton (he's a southern writer from NC). AND I have gotten into Greg Maguire's books too. He is the author of Wicked, Son of a Witch, and Mirror Mirror - all of which I have read. He's written a couple of others too, but I haven't read them yet.

Movies: HARD ONE! I love Moulin Rogue. I've seen it MANY times. I also like Steel Magnolias. Love a good laugh AND cry movie. Oh, and love anything with Christopher Guest. Waiting For Guffman, Best in Show and A Mighty Wind are absolutely hilarious. I have been introduced to a movie called Sordid Lives. It is so funny and I even attended a party themed by this movie. If you haven't seen it you MUST!

Music: Well, I am a music person so I really and truly like anything. Not big on the bubblegum pop princesses (you know who I mean). I do like NSYNC and 98*. Anything with good harmonies. Yea, I like classical stuff (aka stuff from the Rennaisance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary eras). OF course as mentioned before I love theater and especially like the musicals of Rogers and Hammerstein and anything written by George Gershwin.

Food: I eat many things. Specifically little children who annoy me and Chinese and Japanese food - pretty much anything Asian. I also like Italian and Mexican food as well. I also love a good old southern meal too.
The six things I could never do without
1.Music - every aspect of the word
2.Laughter - What is life if you can't laugh at other people?
3.Love - or at least serious like
4.Books - gotta escape to somewhere
5.Family and Friends - yea, I consider them all as one thing
6.Fire - gives warmth and helps cook food ;-)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Just ask me. I'm likely to be thinking about anything at any given moement. Today though (Oct 4) I am thinking "Why the hell do some of these idiots write tests on here and not even have a grasp for grammar or spelling?" I get aggrivated when I look at some of these tests and the questions don't make sense becuase the person can't spell or is wording the questions so awkwardly that they are hard to understand. Am I the Grammar Queen? By no means, but I'm also not writing tests on here!

(10-18): I find it quite amusing to look at the profiles of straight people who do not take the Gaydar test but have taken pretty much any other kind of test. Affraid of what it might reveal?

11-12-11: Just awake and trying to occupy my mind. Hopefully will get tired again soon and can get back to bed.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm totaly random and don't have a typical Friday night. Usually I guess it would involve being out somewhere and doing something...possibly with a few adult beverages involved. Granted- most Fridays im so beat from the week - having a cuddle buddy would be nice ;-).
