My self-summary
Once upon a time there was a torso, and this torso joined up with arms, legs and a head. Assembled in such a Voltronic mode, a pattern emerged, and that pattern is me. I'm a bit ostentatious and weird. I'm easily amused, and revel in absurdity. In terms of Kinsey scale, I'm probably somewhere around a 4.5, i.e., primarily interested in other women. My past long-term relationships have actually all been with ladies, but I'm open to certain varieties and brands of men. It could be said that I'm pansexual, if that is the going term for "being attracted to people and not their genitalia".

In case the first two lines and the rest of my profile don't give it away, I am a big goddamn geek. Literally. Look at my height! HUGE. HUGE!! I'm also kinda nerdy, but most of what I do isn't useful enough to warrant that label.

I like strange things, enjoyably strange people, and I love bein' creative. I love experiencing new things and I'll probably try pretty much anything once, and if I enjoy it, I'll probably try it more than once. I do not like getting stuck in ruts in life, and believe that diverging from routine is a great thing to do.

I like writin' and readin' and listenin' to good music (and sometimes even making some of my own). I like hanging out in cemeteries and looking at headstones and thinkin' about life, the universe, and everything. I like going to far-off secluded areas with a person (or person(s)!) to have interesting conversations.

I like riding my bike, or at least I used to like doing it pretty much every day, until I injured my ankle and my bike fell into disrepair for the months I was unable to really move around much. That could be fun to get back into! I also like walking around. Legs are fucking awesome! Let's use 'em. Cars are for chumps or long trips.

I like making people feel better! I love giving massages, and I've been told I'm fairly decent at them. I like helping people out and being a generally genuinely Decent Human Being™.

In Achewoodian terms, it could be said that I come from circumstances, but I don't really let it get to me much!

What I’m doing with my life
Mysterious and terrible things.

Studying Bioinformatics, teaching myself languages. I'm going to school! Woo!

I do odd jobs and labour gigs when I can, because I'm cool.

I’m really good at
Doing things with a bit of flair. I pour drinks from a few feet above the container, add flourishes of movement to boring actions, and so on. I drizzle honey in arcane patterns onto my toast. I do this because I am magical, and can only be slain by cold iron. I also like moving as though I am some kind of malfunctioning automaton. I am totally fine with doing this in public sometimes because fuck 'em if they can't take a joke.

I like cooking and I'm decent at it, but I usually never make anything too fancy so I don't feel like I've earned the praise I've been given. I love feeding my friends.

I'm good at remembering things, especially things I've heard or written down. This makes me a bit of a prude when hearing people recite lines from songs or movies off-cadence, and it brings me one step closer to my lifelong dream of becoming a tape recorder.

The first things people usually notice about me
How absurdly tall I am. They probably notice that I am an opaque humanoid creature, too. I sometimes have an accent, which is noticed when it appears, and dearly missed when it leaves me.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
"Horror" over anything, interesting over dull, edifying over all, and savory over sweet. I love watching films that are enjoyably bad.

I enjoy a variety of bands, primarily for their lyrics, and my favourite songs tend to be sad songs, breakup songs, or sad breakup songs. I also like listening to noise.

I also like Homestuck but it's not really a book or a movie and I definitely can't eat it. I HAVE TRIED.

For specifics, I like Altered Carbon, The Diamond Age, Snow Crash, The Name of the Wind, and books by Douglas Adams, to be relatively succinct. I also like educational works.

Musically, at present, I'm in love with Anamanaguchi, Bibio, and the Diablo Swing Orchestra.

The six things I could never do without
Other people, channels for creative output, stuff to learn, a world to laugh at, and friends.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
A staggering variety of shit. I like to think about transhumanist things (H+), people, and brains. There might not be any real merit in talking about such things, but it's enjoyable!

My brain is always sort of buzzing, so it's difficult to really tack down one particular thing I spend a lot of time thinking about, but this is just like everybody else.

You want to! We could party hard. Bad things happen when you fail to party hard enough. Together, we could stave off badness while hoping for real betterness, all while sitting in a pile of our own good.
