My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a Neuroscience and Econ major going to Sackler (Tufts) for an MS in drug development in the fall.

On that note, I'm a lot better at answering questions than pulling interesting facts out of my ass. Ask me anything, and you'll receive an honest answer.

I'm also an ISTP.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated last year from Union College, with a BS in Neuroscience and a minor in Econ.

This fall I'll be at Tufts, starting a masters program about pharmacology and drug development. I plan to springboard this to get into a good Neuro PhD program in tufts, but we'll see.

In the meantime, I'm a cytology specimen processor at Harvard Vanguard. In a nutshell, I prepare slides of patient's cells so they can be looked at to see if they are normal. Seems kind of boring (well, maybe a little) but it's important!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Logic/puzzles, photography, choral singing, math, science!, chess, bowling, journalism, debating, academics in general, sarcasm, bear hugs, sneaking back into my room at 2am so my roomate won't wake up.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height, stockiness, deep voice, and (often) unkempt hair. I have awesome eyes too, if I say so myself. Oh, and if my Jew-bling is hanging out people will take note of that too.

One time someone asked if I really loved mathematics. When I asked her why, she pointed at my chai and noted that I was wearing a pi symbol around my neck.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music: Queen, Smashing Pumpkins, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, System of a Down, Guns n' Roses, The Doors, The White Stripes, Velvet Revolver, The Who, Alice in Chains, Audioslave, Jane's Addiction, Juno Reactor, Led Zepplin, Nine Inch Nails, Feed Me, Muse

Favorite TV Shows:
Community, Dr. Who, Star Trek TNG, Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, Robot Chicken, Adventure Time, Rick and Morty, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, nostalgic cartoons...

Favorite Movies:
Hook (if you like this movie, you're instantly awesome in my book), Casino Royale, Airplane!, Million Dollar Baby, The Wall, Tommy, Full Metal Jacket, The Shawshank Redemption, Ace Ventura, Princess Mononoke, The Truman Show, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Memento, Star Trek... too many to list, really. The only thing I really don't like are romantic comedies, unless the company is worth it ;)

Books:
A Spell for Chameleon, Life of Pi, LotR, Adventures of Cavalier and Klay, 1984, Exodus, Snow Crash. Asimov, King, Clancy, Crichton, etc... come to think of it I really haven't read too much recently. Let me know if you have a particularly favorite Scifi (especially cyberpunk), high fantasy, or thriller author.

I refuse to read ASoIaF because I don't want to spoil the show.

Games:
I'll pretty much play anything but sports games. I particularly enjoy Team Fortress 2, Super Smash Bros (if you can keep up with me that's an A+ in my book), Pokemon, Civ 5, FTL, Binding of Isaac... you get the gist.

I guess under this category I should mention I'm a pretty big board game conoisseur. I'm perfectly happy spending a night in playing 7 wonders or cards against humanity.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) A hot shower
2) My desktop computer
3) The internet
4) Some tight social contacts
5) My family (most of them anyway)
6) My iPod (hasn't...completely... died on me yet)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Nothing!

But seriously, I take my schoolwork pretty seriously but lately I've been feeling the need to branch out more socially, especially around my hometown.

The future doesn't bother me, but I tend to dwell on the past much too often.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working on homework due Monday or that I procrastinated with over the week or playing a healthy game of Team Fortress 2. Later in the night I will shenanigate with friends.

Occasionally I'll go out drinking, if the company is right.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have some pretty sick scars on my abdomen and right leg, the result of skiing into a tree when I was 13. I've gone skiing once since... just to say I could.
