I'd describe myself as a spontaneous, happy-go-lucky kind of girl. I moved to Van about 4 years ago - and although I very much miss family, cynical Belfast humour & decent crisps - I'm loving living in this beautiful city :) Hmmmm what to say about me - I love travelling solo, live music, brunch, yoga, tequila, skipping, drumming, intellect and random acts of kindness. As much as I love to be social, I'm also pretty contented being a wee loner at times - reading books & drinking whiskey alone can stir up all sorts of profound thoughts! I started this whole online dating thing to try an alternative to the bar scene - when I go out I want to dance all night in my trainers instead of posing in a corner.

A brilliant relationship to me is one full of total honesty, wit & affection - with two independent lives that fit together rather than 2 people morphing into 1. I've no expectations from okC - just looking to meet some new people who are decent craic outside my social circle. I've been on here a while - it's total hit or miss, but now & again I meet someone brilliant - so I'll keep the faith!

books - I read everything & anything - this week finished Half of a Yellow Sun, Alan Carr autobio...and I'll be a decent daughter here & shamelessly promote my dad's new book - Blight by Noel McCready (might be shite, but go on give it a go)
film - Beasts of The Southern Wild - loved every second.
show - Girls & hmm I reckon it's time to start Game of Thrones...
