I'm pretty new to Chicago. I moved here in September.

I'm ambitious and confident and typically a pretty enthusiastic person. I have a list of things I would like to accomplish (some of them career-related and some not).

I'm a creative individual and work in the theatre. And by work in the theatre, I mean currently make no money doing what I love and have other jobs that pay the bills.

*I've grown a little weary of this site. I would love to just grab a drink or a coffee and have a genuine conversation.

**I lied. I don't actually drink coffee. But saying "Let's go somewhere and I'll drink a Diet Coke" doesn't have the same ring to it.

I'm working with a theatre company in their Education/Outreach department and also teaching elementary Drama classes.

My most important goal as of late is finding a creative outlet for myself.

Making grilled cheese, procrastinating, sleeping late, laughing at myself, and knowing lots of pop culture trivia. (And using the Oxford comma)

I'm getting better at parallel parking.

My friend says that I should write my bubbly personality.... I'm not sure how I feel about the word bubbly. It paints a very specific picture. So if you associate the word bubbly with 'ditsy' or 'bimbo', please disregard the previous statement.

Books: All Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Game of Thrones series, Chuck Palahniuk, Margaret Atwood, Tana French.

Movies: The Princess Bride, Stranger Than Fiction, Fried Green Tomatoes, High Fidelity, Forrest Gump, Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show.

TV: Law and Order:SVU, Glee, Smash, Parks and Recreation, The Office, Grey's Anatomy (I should also say that shows could refer to live theatre. I love musicals - but I also love going to see plays)

Music: Mumford and Sons, Avett Brothers, Florence + The Machine, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and showtunes (don't judge!)

Food: Sushi, Pasta, Cheeseburgers, Brunch

My future, theatre stuff, things that are really funny and/or bizarre, people's stories, what I'm going to eat for dinner, how most okcupid profiles seem to be the same.

I hate to be cliche', but I'm might be with friends in bar/restaurant, watching a movie at home, or maybe catching up on laundry if it's been a crazy week. Sometimes I work on Fridays selling tickets at the theatre and being the most awesome box office associate ever.

Guilty pleasures:
Reality t.v. and top 40's radio

P.S. Why does the band Fun. feel the need to punctuate their name?
