There's really no appropriate place to put it on my main profile page, so I thought I'd post a journal, just for fun, with a handful of characteristics I like in a guy.

A good singing voice, while not a real consideration when I'm looking, is ohmygod such a huge plus.  Seriously.  Gives me the shivers.

Personal appearances are important.  I'm not saying you need to be gorgeous.  Not at all.  I'm saying you need to care about yourself and how you present yourself to the world.

I tend to like the lanky type, and I'm not sure if it's because I actually like that build on a guy, or because guys with that build tend to have what I call Pianist Hands.  Expressive hands with long fingers fascinate me, and more than once, I've found myself spacing out during a conversation to just watch a guy's hands move as he talks.

Also a fan of glasses.  Not much of an explanation needed there.

Most important though, is that I'm a very tactile person.  I express myself not just through speech and gestures, but also through touch, and if a guy is not ok with casual touches (hug, poke, friendly punch, etc.) then it's just not going to work out.
