My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Is it cliche to say I can's stand writing self-summaries? Yes? So be it.

I'm an LA transplant who went to school in the Bay Area and couldn't tear myself away after graduation. I've lived in the city for four years and have been lucky enough to build a great group of friends that spans high school, college, and jobs past and present. I'm a very lucky girl.

I love going to the Ferry Building on Saturday morning or City Arts and Lectures during the week. I think Land's End is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I believe nothing is more powerful than a handwritten thank you note. I still root for the Dodgers but go to a lot of Giants games by my own free will.

Full disclosure: my friends say I have a "very dry sense of humor" which I'm pretty sure means I can be a little too sarcastic at times. Don't let it fool you. :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Learning how to cook (well). Pretending I'm more artistic than I really am and attempting to teach myself calligraphy and watercolor - do me a favor and pretend it's 'abstract.' Finally putting stuff on the walls in my apartment after four years of living in SF.

I do PR for a tech company in the city, but I'm not an airhead and/or asshole (most of the time, anyways).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I bake a mean cheesecake. It's half chocolate and half vanilla-almond and I'm not allowed to give you the recipe.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile is ever-so-slightly lopsided but always big.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family, fresh flowers, sunshine, glasses (wine, optical and sun), bad TV, emoji
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where I'll take my next trip. Whether I need a jacket when I go outside.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Catching up with friends and coworkers at happy hour; occasionally ending the night with spontaneous dance parties.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like to coerce people into singing Kenny Loggins songs at karaoke. I have a 98% success rate (unscientific calculation).

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You know the difference between "your" and "you're." You can take a joke. You're interested in how things work.
