I am a 22 year old, recent grad. I moved down to DC in August after graduating from college in Boston. I currently work for a law firm, however I am interested in getting into government/politics. I am really into international/homeland security issues (especially nonproliferation) and I eventually plan to get my masters in security studies/international relations.
I got my B.A. in International Relations and Italian. I am also the captain of a kickball team and I love it, although I have probably only gotten on base like twice...

My smile! I am an eternal optimist, and generally enthusiastic about life, so it is rare moment if I am not smiling.

I love Italian food (I studied for 6 months in Bologna, Italy, which has a reputation for its food...even in Italy).
As far as books go, I don't think I could choose a favorite, although recently I have enjoyed Outliers, Bonk, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Lost Symbol (it takes place in DC!), and Politics Lost. I am also a huge Harry Potter fan (don't judge).

I love all kinds of movies, whether they are stupid comedies, action movies or chick flicks--among my favorites are the Star Wars (IV-VI), Top Gun, Moulin Rouge, Casino Royale, and A Few Good Men. I also recently watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall and it was hysterical!

Favorite music: Billy Joel, hands down.

Also, I am a Mets fan. Next year will definitely be our season! (I have been saying this since 2000--remember that thing about eternal optimism?)
