My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
City-loving, smarty pants seeks kind, intelligent and ambitious man.

I like deep conversations, strong coffee and cocktails, and belly-aching laughter. I work hard, but enjoy the small things in life the most: sunshine and clear skies, a good book, a warm smile. I love to travel, go to museums, talk about politics and watch good TV shows.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
On the endless search for work-life balance - let me know if you have the secret to achieving it!

Traveling, discovering bookstores with English Language books, trying to find the best cup of coffee in Shanghai and my new favorite wine bar. And shopping :)

I also teach history to teenagers - so I get to talk about different cultures, war, current events all day. Which I think makes me pretty lucky!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Understanding people, getting along with (most) people. Teaching. Shopping. Blind wine tasting (I've won prizes!). Finding new vacation spots. And not getting lost - I love navigating new cities.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
current events, how to take better instagram pictures, what I am teaching that day, what color to paint my nails next, clothes, what makes people tick, where I should get coffee in the morning, what plans should I make for the weekend, daydreaming about my next trip - the normal mixture of mundane and profound
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
getting my nails done and then out trying a new restaurant with friends! I save all my crazy fun for Saturday nights :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a really hard time not buying new books, even when I have a lot I haven't read yet.
