My self-summary
I drink Old Fashioned's.
I smoke Winston's
I listen to records and NPR
I firmly believe that being able to wrangle a newspaper for ease of reading is a lost art that future generations will miss out on and that makes me sad for them.

Essentially I'm an old man trapped in a 31 year old woman's body...but I'm still totally girlie
What I’m doing with my life
Livin' it and working at an amazing restaurant. After a seven year hiatus from the food industry I am finally getting back into it. I'm working towards owning my own place someday so right now I work long hours and late nights to get the experience but I couldn't ask for a better "family" to be surrounded by so it's worth it in the end.
I’m really good at
Cooking. I'm really really good at cooking. I'd probably give your mom a run for her money...
The first things people usually notice about me
The horse head mask. Unless I have the chicken one on that day. Then it's that. Or my eyes...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite books: are lots and lots and lots. My favorite authors include Christopher Moore, Anthony Bourdain, Tom Robbins, Homer, and a bunch of other people who may or may not still be alive. Also, I'm a pastry chef so I spend a great deal of time perusing cookbooks for inspiration.

My favorite movies include but are not limited to House of 1000 corpses, Devil's Rejects, Rude Boy, pretty much all of the big 70/80's horror films, Lost in Translation, The Sweetest Thing, Juno, Garden State, Stranger Than Fiction. Ehh anyway you get the point...

I don't have a television but when I have access to one it is usually tuned to something based on food or something educational. Also, I just discovered Duck Dynasty and it makes me Happy Happy Happy.

I have a very wide range of musical interests. I grew up listening to ska and punk but I can always get down with southern rock, classic country, classical, pretty much anything except super poppy auto tuned crap. Some of my favorite bands are The Clash (favorite band of all time!), The Beatles, Mr Bungle, Social Distortion (I have HUGE voice crushes on Mike Patton and Mike Ness) The Skatellites, Beck, The Pietasters, Dropkick Murphys, Bob Marley, Rancid, Operation Ivy, The Robustos, Wolf Mother, Fugazi, Stray Cats, The White Stripes, Gogol Bordello, Scott H. Biram, System of a Down, Johnny Cash, Tom Waits, Blair Crimmins, The 101'ers, Dick Dale, Tubeway Army, The Mr. Move, Cage the Elephant, slow dancing to Bob Dylan and Ottis Redding, Junior Murvin, Desmond Dekker, Charlie Mingus (check out "Haitian Fight Song" it will change your life).. That list should get you started. Ask if you need more

My life's dream is to judge a Barbecue competition. I can't think of a single cuisine that I don't like but I can't handle super spicy stuff so I ask for the wuss level of spice when I eat Indian or Thai. Sunday brunch is my favorite meal of the week. As far as I'm concerned, every day should start out like a Sunday; with good friends, good foods and a mimosa
The six things I could never do without
I don't need anything. Except this paddle ball game. And this remote. And this Chair...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to explain the flavor of a strawberry and why blueberries are not in fact blue

Where I can find a better record store

Why people say they like all types of music except Country and then list Country artists in their favorite band/musician lists (ie. Patsy Cline, Elvis, Johnny Cash)

Why picnics, men in hats and ladies in white gloves have gone the way of the Dodo
On a typical Friday night I am
Either working or not working. It all depends on the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
One of my cats has an unhealthy addiction to playing "fetch". No shit.
I’m looking for
  • Straight guys only
  • Ages 29–42
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
I'm always down to make new friends as long as they aren't Creepy McCreepsters and as long as you aren't "in town for the night looking for a tour guide" (cause thats just gross really)

As far as romantic interests go however....
You should live in Atlanta and specifically ITP. I'm sorry but tourists, traffic and suburbs just aren't my thing. (I will make exceptions on the ITP part based on awesomeness but man, you'd better be the most awesomest person ever...)

You must have a job. No need to make a billion dollars just be gainfully employed in an actual career. Preferably one that isn't eating your soul.

You have some sort of reliable means of transportation. Feet, MARTA or bike are fine but I'm not a chauffeur so I expect you to be responsible for your own self getting to and from places from time to time
