My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.

After way too long (again) we are updating our profile.

A little at least.

Dorothy Katt is working at a job that would be boring to 99.9% of the world but is a blast and a half to her. Rose Katt is teaching and much loved by all of the kittens in her klasses. She is also working towards her M.A.

We bought our little house in the country and talking seriously about starting a family. DK's niece is very interested in the idea and demanded that RK put a throw pillow under her shirt so we could see what she would look like pregnant. That's still a while away but it's nice to think about.

I am tall, geeky, and laughing
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working but not as much overtime as I was (DK)

Focusing more on furthering my education. I still enjoy my work but I want to be able to help make more of a future for my students and I need to change a few things to be able to make that happen (RK)

We're both trying to get more involved in things in our community. We have been too isolated for the last couple of years.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being me.

Me too!

Ahhhhh, that we make a cute couple?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

DK: Technical books and history
RK: Child development and other work related materials, detective stories and Anne Rice.

We both like old movies from the 40s and 50s

Almost anything will do for music.

We are both trying to learn to cook new foods and trying to eat more healthy. Still need to have Chinese or pizza every few weeks though.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Rose, my family, my cat (she is old and deaf but back with her mommy now), anti-depressants, Spel chek
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Building our future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Home recovering from the week
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes it would be nice if things were a little easier. Half of the battle though is recovering from setbacks. After all, if you never failed how would you know when you suceeded?
