My self-summary
I choose to follow the path of personal growth.

I feel deeply connected to nature. I like to take steps so that I share nearby outdoor space with useful perennial plants, wild plants and wild animals.

Sometimes I call myself an auto didact meaning I have interest in many subjects and I love to learn, to explore & discover in a wide range of topics.

In one of my roles I serve as a teacher and I have recently become enthralled with democratic schools and sudbury model schools and A.S. Neill's Summerhill School. Presently I think founding or working in a democratic school might be loads of fun.

I see myself as ethical, adventurous, creative, ambitious, and sensual.

I aspire to take steps daily toward the goal of leaving the parts of the Earth that I engage with better off than I found it.

Sometimes I describe myself as a blend of an artist and an engineer.

The Meyers Briggs Personality Type Indicator classified me as an ENTP.

On the big five personality inventory i scored as follows.O76-C41-E79-A38-N49 Big Five!!

On Sam Gosling's Need for Uniqueness test / instrument I obtained the following result I'm 77% freak!!
What I’m doing with my life
Learning how to experience and integrate the full range of emotions. I see that my family, school and national cultures actively suppressed the development of my emotional self knowledge as a child. I recall myself being socialized not to cry and I have a problem with that. Active listening to the emotional messages of my students has helped immensely to reconnect with and integrate my feeling states.

I strive to vitalize and broaden the meaning of community and egalitarian marriage. My partner and I have agreed that we have an open and non-monogamous (polyamorous) marriage. Operationally this means our agreements allow her to have additional sweeties and me have other romantic relationships as well.
We have committed to honest communication and transparency.

I see the idea of "mainstream American Culture" as a fabrication packaged and sold by the corporate media and other elites as a means of social control.

Massage: It has been said that I have a lot of energy in my hands. I think it may be because I know what I like and I pay attention to how my friends respond to my touch.

Seeing situations from other peoples perspectives.

Allowing people to make their own decisions.

Perhaps in part as a result of my efforts to expand my knowledge of my feelings I see myself as getting better at inferring peoples emotional states from facial expressions & body language & brief vocal cues.
