My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have decided to re/discover my authentic self. For me at present that begins with reconnecting to my emotions that I suppressed as a young child perhaps as a result of my Adverse Childhood Experiences. Some of the emotions I seek seem to have been devalued in boys in my culture(s) of origin. This emotion reintegration process feels well underway as of Feb 2015.

I feel deeply connected to nature. I like to take steps so that I share nearby outdoor space with useful perennial plants, wild plants and wild animals.

Sometimes I call myself an auto didact meaning I have interests in many subjects and I love to learn / self teach to explore & discover in a wide range of topics.

In one of my roles I serve as a teacher and I have recently become enthralled with democratic schools and sudbury model schools and A.S. Neill's Summerhill School. Presently I think founding or working in a democratic school might be a good way to walk my talk.

I see myself as moral, adventurous, creative, ambitious, and sensual.

I aspire to take steps toward the goal of leaving the parts of the Earth that I connect with better off than I found them.

Sometimes I describe myself as a blend of an artist and an engineer.

The Meyers Briggs Personality Type Indicator classified me as an ENTP.

On the big five personality inventory i scored as follows.O76-C41-E79-A38-N49 Big Five!!

On Sam Gosling's Need for Uniqueness test / instrument I obtained the following result I'm 77% freak!!

According to some website assessment my primary love language is Physical Touch (scored 12 of a possible 12). This came as a surprise to me and leaning into releasing my shame at my desire to touch has been trans-formative and healing.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Everyday I choose the path that leads toward expanded emotional self knowledge. In my view many men formed in my cultures of origin have little awareness of some of their important internal feeling states (such as sadness, anxiety, and fear) and their motivations. I choose not to live emotionally blind so I seek out experiences that resurface submerged emotions and integrate the feeling states I rediscover into my life. I see that my childhood experiences (developmental trauma) actively suppressed the development of key emotional self knowledge skills. I choose to heal the multitude of rough and subtle experiences I had as a child that separated me from experiencing and knowing my emotional self. Active listening to the emotional messages of my students has helped immensely to reconnect with and integrate my emotions.

Clarifying my values freedom of thought / conscience, Ecology, Democracy, Equality, Diversity, and Fun or Play so I may put my values into action.

I strive to vitalize, deepen and democratize the meaning of relationship and use that expanded relationship model to foster authentic community. I intend to have my relationships operate openly and non-monogamously (aka polyamory) Operationally this means my agreements with my partners protect each partners freedom to choose how they relate to others. Simply stated we all have the right to have additional sweeties / romantic relationships. I intend use honest communication and transparency to foster intimacy and communication in these relationships

Finding Win Win solutions to conflicts / apparent conflicts.

Seeing situations from other peoples perspectives.

Allowing people to make their own decisions.

Perhaps in part as a result of my efforts to expand my knowledge of my feelings I see myself as getting better at inferring peoples emotional states from facial expressions & body language & brief vocal cues.
