My self-summary
-I have yet to meet anyone who comes close to rivaling my blanket fort building skills.

I'm into lifting really heavy shit and putting it back down again.

Occasionally I shoot the hay at Discovery Park with my 45lb longbow. Not saying I'm great or anything... but hypothetically, I could kill things and stuff. Maybe one day I can be a valuable asset to a post-apocalyptic revolution or fend off zombies.
What I’m doing with my life
Computer stuff.

I used to end my work day by scrubbing streaks of thermal paste from of my hair and picking screws out from under my nails. That's not a metaphor; have you seen how insanely small the screws are that hold a MacBook keyboard in? Geeze!

I've somewhat sold out and am now supporting software and the company that provides it. I do miss tinkering with electronics, but this job is comfy and provides free energy drinks and lunch so... cool.
I’m really good at
Taking things with lots of screws apart and putting them back together again without having a visit from the Screw Fairy. (The Screw Fairy likes to go around to workstations and sprinkle extra screws around, you know, in case you need them. *sarcasm*)

Opening beer with my teeth.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair is definitely a conversation starter, but musicians are usually drawn to my tattoo.

Sorry, I don't play an instrument.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
SciFi / Fantasy / Fiction books like Spin, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and Neverwhere. I've read and adored series like The Sword of Truth and The Wheel of Time.

I'm currently reading the Dark Tower series by Steven King and I just started Dune. I've been known to read several books at the same time. I think of books like TV shows and pick what I want to read that day the same way you would pick what you want to watch on TV.

Movies, Shows:
I catch a few good shows on Hulu or Netflix (COSMOS!!) but I'm definitely more of a movie person. I especially love old black and white movies with Buster Keaton or Charlie Chaplin. I'm also a strong believer that movies CAN be so bad they're good! (Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus, Megapiranha)

As far as music goes...
I'm still trying to figure that out about myself. I like individual songs from a lot of artists instead of enjoying an entire album. I tend to not obsess over or even know the name of any particular band that I like.

Some songs I absolutely love:
Bloodstream by Stateless
Retrograde by James Blake
Jesus, etc. by Wilco
I know its over by The Smiths
Evil by Interpol
Take Me to Church by Hozier

Also bands similar to Diego's Umbrella, Leningrad, and Gogol Bordello are the shit.

The six things I could never do without
This is stupid. I'm not answering it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Read rhymes with lead and read rhymes with lead, but read doesn't rhyme with lead and read doesn't rhyme with lead.

Dinosaurs!

How easy it is to hack the human mind.
How much I dislike dolphins.
Monsters in the deep ocean that we haven't discovered yet.

The pursuit and maintenance of truth.

I go through life in a constant state of bewilderment and appreciation for the people and world around me.
On a typical Friday night I am
If you know what "Friday Night Magic" is then we need to be friends.

Sometimes Reddit keeps me prisoner until 3 am.

Being happily dragged around midtown by my wonderful, wonderful friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a beauty school drop-out.

GGG required by me and hopefully desired by you.

I can't sing, but if you drag me to karaoke and get me drunk enough I'll scream Bohemian Rhapsody at you. You'll wish you hadn't.

I become suspicious of my spell checker after I type a long word and don't see a squiggly red line. Sometimes I type gibberish just to make sure its still working.
You should message me if

You miss Firefly.

You can grill a mean steak. Or you would like me to grill you a not quite as mean steak.

You want an Archery, MTG, DnD, Board Game, FPS, or Drinking buddy!
