I am carbon based, logical, and disjunctive.

My Self-Summary

I'm into zazen, philosophy, psychology, and sociology. I spend a lot of time training for cycling.

I live in southbend as of June and like it so far.

I moved from the middle-of-nowhere town Marquette in Michigan where I was going to NMU. It was a great place, but after 5 years I was ready to leave.

What I’m doing with my life

Reading and riding my bike, mostly.

I work in computers.

I’m really good at

Internet. Bibliophilia. Philosophizing. Accidentaly spending a whole day reading.

The first things people usually notice about me

I like to think I blend in fairly well, but when people do take notice its probably because of some thing I said.

I don't go out of my way to be an ass, but I think I'm more open and tend to bring up things people don't usually talk about.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Music: electro, classical, a few other things.

The only tv I watch are the shows I download, which are Big Bang Theory and The Tudors

I watch lots of movies at random, but the only ones that stuck out recently were Primer and The Fountain. I loved Airplane, Blade Runner, and my fav is Dr. Strangelove.

Fav Books:
Foundation
Cryptonomicon
Zen and the Beat Way
Norwegian Wood
The Hope Valley Hubcap King
The Finished Man
Sputnik Sweetheart
Candide
Crime and Punishment
The Road Less Traveled
The Lost Art of Compassion

Authors:
William Gibson
Neal Stephenson
Thomas Pynchon
Haruki Murakami
Charles Bukowski
Nietzsche
Dostoevsky
Heinlein
Asimov
Sean Murphy
Alan Watts
Allen Ginsberg
Dylan Thomas
EE Cummings

That may seem like a lot, but those really are just my favorites.

I also read lots of scifi and fantasy, scientific texts and contemporary theory, classical philosophy, radical theology, philosophy, eastern thought, and any thing worthwhile. I'm trying to work through all the important books.

The six things I could never do without

books
ipod
conversation
bike
journal
zazen

I spend a lot of time thinking about

if its even possible to think, and the general nature of man.

also, wondering if our country will make it through my generation.

On a typical Friday night I am

with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and a book.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm really good at DDR (dance dance revolution).

You should message me if

If you actually have some thing to say.
