My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Still filling this one out. :D

I moved to NYC from Seattle this past October to do an internship at a literary agency. I've just been hired at a publishing house and can't wait to get settled into my new position. So much adventure to be had.

INFJ. So... Liz Lemon, Uncle Iroh, Mako Mori, Tifa Lockheart, Morpheus, Obi-Wan Kenobi and I are all birds of a feather. If that's your thing.

I just moved to Bushwick and know absolutely no one and nothing here. Want to help me out with that?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I read and write atrocious amounts and would murder for decent coffee, but I'm in the industry that I love. <3
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Mad dancing, running from zombies, correcting any and all grammatical errors, and catching your adorable geeky references.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile. I can always get people to smile back.

Books: My room back in Seattle is a library... I had to start triple-parking things on shelves before I left. I mostly read young adult, and lately I've been trying to break into the fantasy epics (I'm on the fifth Song of Ice and Fire, and the second Wheel of Time book). This past year I set a goal for myself to read more classics and award winning novels, but like any human being I am often distracted by the things I love. I've also finished The Wise Man's Fear, and as much as I love Patrick Rothfuss for all of the charity work he does, he needs to FINISH THE THIRD BOOK.

Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Avengers, anything Miyazaki touches, teen movies of the 80's, The Dark Knight, Waitress, No Reservations, 28 Days Later, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, I Saw the Devil, The Man from Nowhere, The Good The Bad and the Weird. And horror films. Lots of horror films.

Shows: Game of Thrones, Dexter (final season D:), Cowboy Bebop, Doctor Who, Firefly, How I Met Your Mother, Yu Yu Hakusho (for major bonus points), Archer, One Piece, Adventure Time, and just about everything on TLC (guilty pleasure). I love watching the Discovery Channel, but usually it scares the hell out of me. Usually because of spiders, and the many things that I didn't need to know about them.

Music: Sleigh Bells, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Black Keys, The Naked and Famous, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, Daft Punk, The Postal Service, Death Cab for Cutie, Florence and the Machine, Coldplay, and just about anything that 80's pandora whips out.

I love food and love to eat! I'm pretty sure I could eat Thai food every day. Craft beer is a more recent passion of mine, and there is nothing like a solid IPA after a hard day's work.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My best friends, music, anime, coffee, books, and sunshine.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How much coffee I've had in a day and when I should cut myself off.

Comp. titles for whatever writing project I'm immersed in (right now I'm going with X-Men meets Beauty and the Beast).

How I can have more craft beer in my life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Going out somewhere I've never been before (which is nearly everywhere in this city), getting lost somewhere (because that's how you learn), splitting an entire bottle of wine with my bestie and watching the West Wing (because we are amazing), or curling up with my PS2 and replaying Kingdom Hearts.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have amazing posters of Tony Stark, Cloud Strife, and Roronoa Zoro on my bedroom wall. And I am super proud of them.
